Arthur point on the seed thing —- but remember Peter — God told Peter not once but twice in Acts 10:15 “And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.” And Acts 11:9 “But the voice answered a second time from heaven, ‘What God has made clean, do not call common.’

This is post resurrection and in relation to spreading the gospel to gentiles at Macedonia. So, I always ask Gods blessings on my mushrooms, Onions, and other additives .... :mdrmdr:

In college I used to eat fried onion rings with an ice cream sundae.  Not on top but a small side order.  I know it sounds odd but its actually really very good.

I also love sautéed sweet onions and then caramelizing them with some butter ... it takes away from the sharp taste of raw onions.  Its hard for me to eat raw onions ... they need to be cooked or fried.

Not sure why but without fail every time I’m cutting up an onion or chopping up fresh garlic ... I think of the children of Israel complaining in the desert about what they missed most about Egyptian life.  Here they mention other favorites ...

Numbers 11:5
We remember the fish, :negative: which we did eat in Egypt freely 🙁 ; the cucumbers Smile  and the melons Smile , and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic. :good:

Speaking about “fish” ... I purchased a few herbs on-line and now I get solicitation trying to entice me to sign up for “salmon delivery right to my front door.” 🙁  Between that and the weekly Panera Bread coffee deals ... I keep :prayer-hands: “please Lord, come soon so you can deliver me from this evil ...”

I'm going to make and eat fish in about an hour or so for dinner today. I'm going to bread some Tilapia in panko bread crumbs and fry them while I boil some pierogies and green beans.

I love white fish but am not a big fan of other fishes. Arctic Char,  tilapia and halibut are my favourites.  I prefer my fish eaten hot.  Nothing grosser than leftover cold fish.  Lol.
