Interesting - the last full moon of the decade is today (12/12) and it occurs at 12:12am (EDT) . Hmmm 2019 -- 2 + 0 + 1 + 9 = 12. Interesting math but does it mean something... or is it just an interesting pattern? Full moon and new moons the Lord might not always honor. And as He works out every detail in time and space, I can't but help to know that the Lord also manages the workings of His heart also! No doubt, the Lord is pleased with every heart that longs for His appearing! But it seems a caveat must be spoken. We can long for His appearance for totally selfish reasons, not loving the Lord. Or we can long for His appearance primarily because of Love! Indeed the Holy Spirit is the heart of God! TR

Judaism changed the New Year from Nisan to Tishri, which is the seventh month, based on a man-made system derived from the rabbinical determinations introduced from Babylon in 344 CE and sanctioned by Rabbi Hillel II in 358 CE. The Dead Sea Scrolls, the LXX and modern scholarship have exposed this change which was made.
