I have previously posted here about what I call the "Wonder-if-this-will-be-the-last-time" syndrome, where we ponder whether something we do in this world on a recurring basis may be happening for the last time before the Church is called home. This morning I could not help but wonder, assuming we are still here on the 4th, if tomorrow will be our last 4th of July here in America? I ask the question on a couple of different levels. The most obvious application is whether the Church will be harpazoed before 7/4/21. The other perspective, if believers were still physically present on this earth when 7/4/21 rolls around, is whether our country will in any way resemble the constitutional republic we have known all of our life. Donald Trump is no glowing paragon of virtue and he certainly is no Savior, but compared to what things will be like if Romans 1 reprobate minds gain unfettered controlled of our country, he is a much better option to slow down the godlessness and lawlessness as our nation circles the toilet bowl in its tragic and final few revolutions. Despite our national sins and shortcomings, which are very real, I feel blessed to have been born in this country and to benefit in enjoying its freedoms throughout my life. That said, my primary citizenship is in heaven and I am more than ready to relinquish my US citizenship in preference to Abba's house. Enjoy what very well may be our final 4th of July here in America. Maranatha!!! May it be so Lord! :prayer-hands: Yes our last 4th of July for sure! With a nation divided, in turmoil and about to be judged by God, I can't see much to celebrate. Would rather be in Heaven celebrating our new life! TR By next July 4th we will either be in heaven or a FEMA camp. No using the f-word, thank you! TR Just for the record, Leaving Soon, my vote is heaven. LOL. Just sayin'. F as in FEMA! TR The spirit calls you upward! These things are coming to past, we are told to look up, for our redemption draws nigh (close). :prayer-hands: Many here have said, what more signs do we need, I would echo that thought ... it no longer is an issue of “is this the Rapture time?” ... it is only a matter of Gods timing for the completion of the age of grace. I await with soul and heart looking up! Pray without ceasing :prayer-hands: From 1607 the Jamestown settlers covenanted America to the Lord through Jesus Christ to all generations. The pilgrims, puritans and George Washington with the founding fathers continued in covenant that our nation is dedicated to the Lord. This is from the internet when you look up "covenant nation George Washington". I'm sure this is why there is such pronounced shades of good and evil here. For example we are sending Christian TV around the world as well as Bibles and missionaries, yet pornography and other sins abound. I'm not nervous at all about being here till the rapture. But when God takes his people out of this nation, I believe the tribulation will hit like a ton of bricks! It sure is looking like this is our last 4th of July. According to this article ... Pfizer is working hard to try to have the vaccine ready for ... September ... imagine that ... just in time for Feast of Trumpets. NY NBC News Researchers at Pfizer Inc. and New York University are working on a never-before-tried coronavirus vaccine that the pharmaceutical company says could be available by September. "It is probably the fastest way of having a vaccine available to stem this pandemic, based on the data that I have seen," said Kathrin Jansen, who leads vaccine research for Pfizer. The vaccine instructs a person's cells to make proteins associated with the coronavirus without making the person sick. Researchers hope the body's immune system will then kick in, creating the antibodies needed to fight off COVID-19. "Messenger RNA is something the body produces on its own normally," said Mark Mulligan, chief of infectious diseases at NYU Langone Health. "It's kind of a new thing, but it's really not anything that's too different from what the body does for itself." But Dr. Peter Hotez, co-director of the Texas Children's Center for Vaccine Development at Baylor University, said no RNA vaccine has been licensed because they have worked well only in laboratory animals. Those immune responses have not translated into ... good human immune responses," he said. Mulligan said he is optimistic about a trial underway at NYU, but he added that "the data will speak for itself." "This is the science," he said. "You don't have to have faith or belief. The answer will come from the investigations that we do." The vaccine is one of dozens under review in the global fight against the pandemic. - Fair Use-
