So the next Jubliee lands on 2028 or 2029?!!  I’m lovin’ it :good:  This then fits in nicely with the rapture happening in 2020 or 2021.

I’m a firm believer that Yom Kippur will be the 2nd Coming and the separation of the sheep from the goats judgment.  Then Feast of Tabernacle (God dwelling with man) kicks off the millennium kingdom.  So then that leaves Rosh Hashanah/Feast of Trumpets as the rapture event???   And just learned recently that the “last trump” is linked with Rosh Hashanah/Feast Trumpets.  Just another clue to keep extra watchful on this feast day.  B-)

Yes, could be.

The assumption being that Josephus was correct about the Jubilee Year occurring between 23 BC to 22 BC.

We do know that Jesus started his ministry at about 30 years old in the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar’s reign.

Tiberius officially became Emperor in August 14 AD but he had been Co-Emperor for a number of years before that.

———

In AD 7, Agrippa Postumus, a younger brother of Gaius and Lucius, was disowned by Augustus and banished to the island of Pianosa, to live in solitary confinement.[29][32] Thus, when in AD 13, the powers held by Tiberius were made equal, rather than second, to Augustus' own powers, he was for all intents and purposes a "co-Princeps" with Augustus, and, in the event of the latter's passing, would simply continue to rule without an interregnum or possible upheaval.[33]

However, according to Suetonius, after a two-year stint in Germania, which lasted from 10–12 AD,[34] "Tiberius returned and celebrated the triumph which he had postponed, accompanied also by his generals, for whom he had obtained the triumphal regalia. And before turning to enter the Capitol, he dismounted from his chariot and fell at the knees of his father, who was presiding over the ceremonies.”[35] "Since the consuls caused a law to be passed soon after this that he should govern the provinces jointly with Augustus and hold the census with him, he set out for Illyricum on the conclusion of the lustral ceremonies."[36]

Thus, according to Suetonius, these ceremonies and the declaration of his "co-Princeps" took place in the year 12 AD, after Tiberius' return from Germania.[34] "But he was at once recalled, and finding Augustus in his last illness but still alive, he spent an entire day with him in private."[36] Augustus died in AD 14, a month before his 76th birthday.[37] He was buried with all due ceremony and, as had been arranged beforehand, deified, his will read, and Tiberius, now a middle-aged man at 55, was confirmed as his sole surviving heir.[38]

So, Jesus could have began his ministry in 27-29 AD, depending on which year you choose as the first year of Tiberius’ reign. (Either 12 or 14 AD)

I believe Jesus’ ministry lasted for 3 1/2 years so that makes the crucifixion date of 30 or 32 AD. I believe 30 AD makes the most sense as Jerusalem and the Temple  were destroyed in 70 AD, 40 years later. 40 is a significant number in the Bible.

That is my way of looking at it, anyway.

Seems to make sense!  Interesting that we just can't seem to nail down any date to help our calculations.  Yet, in other ways we can arrive to precise dates!  Hmm

Sounds like imposed intervention!

Agreed. We can’t nail down dates but we can know we are in the season.

We are close. So very, very close to an eternity with Our Blessed Saviour Jesus Christ. :yahoo:

Not knowing the day or hour, begs always being ready and hopeful!

We just won't be satisfied until we are wrapped in His arms!
