To me the only explanation for the insanity, including the close mindedness of our loved ones, is the spirit of deception mentioned in II Thessalonians. We are not yet at that place in time, but surely the spirit of deception has fallen on this earth. It's so difficult to see what we loved falling apart and those around us falling in line. So, as we were instructed, we encourage each other with the hope of God's promises. Not one word will fail!
