An excerpt from the article: NATO pushing for Kaliningrad catastrophe by provoking Russia

"And the Pentagon is far more concerned about paying for transgender surgeries for woke soldiers than actually teaching men how to fight."

Iran Hacks Israel's Missile Alert System:

A suspected Iranian cyber-attack likely set off rocket-warning sirens in the cities of Jerusalem and Eilat on Sunday, Israeli media reported on Monday.

Israeli cybersecurity authorities said the attack targeted municipal alert systems, but did not breach essential IDF infrastructure, according to Ynet.

“There is a gap between Israel’s excellent cyber defenses on critical infrastructure compared to non-critical civilian systems,” said Cohen. “This was not the first cyberattack to demonstrate the gap, and there must be increased awareness of the fact in order to protect Israel’s networks.”

Last week, the Checkpoint cybersecurity firm said Iranian hackers were likely behind a breach of email accounts belonging to former and current senior Israeli officials, including an Israeli ambassador to the United States and a former general.

I think Bibi Netanyahu will eventually be in charge.  I seem to remember hearing him say that he expected to be prime minister when the Messiah returns.  I could be wrong, but. . .

Things seem to be heating up!  Just as like Bibi becoming PM again!  However, still not soon enough!

The Russia-Ukraine War Proves that No One Will Come to Israel's Aid:

Indeed, for Ukrainians, the situation must be particularly galling. After all, it is has been barely 20 years since the Budapest Memorandum was signed, in which Russia, the U.S. and the U.K. pledged to refrain from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine if the country gave up its nuclear weapons. They also pledged—among other things—to respect Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty according to its then-current borders.

Clearly, there have since been blatant Russian violations of the Memorandum, notably the 2014 annexation of Crimea and then the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

Clearly, there have since been blatant Russian violations of the Memorandum, notably the 2014 annexation of Crimea and then the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

She observed that “the entire blueprint of Western democracies’ approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict” has been to “push the Israelis to cede strategic territorial depth in the hopes that governments run by terrorists will behave. In exchange, Israel would ride a brief wave of Western plaudits and vague assurances of assistance if the Palestinians were to seek to destabilize or attack the smaller Israel.”

“An Israeli deal with the Palestinians would surely be met, like the Budapest Memorandum, with fanfare and goodwill in the short term,” she stated. “The world, supposedly, would have become a more peaceful place. But little remarked upon are the long-term consequences for the party that sacrificed its own security policy on the altar of quixotic Western delusions.”

In a paper entitled “When International Agreements Utterly Failed,” David Makovsky, a distinguished fellow at the Washington Institute, analyzed the events that led to the 1967 Six-Day War, which erupted after Egypt closed the Straits of Tiran to Israeli navigation. This was a critical blow to Israel, which at the time relied on strategic oil imports from Iran supplied via the Straits.

Israel believed it had secured a guarantee of freedom of navigation through the Straits from the U.S. and the international community in 1957 when it withdrew its forces from the Sinai Peninsula after the 1956 Sinai campaign. Moreover, Israel declared that any future closure of the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping by Egypt would be considered a clear casus belli. Despite this warning, on May 23, 1967, Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser ordered the closure of the Straits to Israeli vessels.

Clearly, this vividly underscores the merits of Henry Kissinger’s characterization of the anarchic international system: Sovereign nations have the right to change their minds at will, making any international agreement or pledge ephemeral by its very nature.

Israel should remember that it can expect scant support from other countries, which will be reluctant to come to its aid. For, as Yossi Cohen warned in his address, if Israel is attacked, it must be prepared for the possibility that “no one will come.”

The Biblical Crimson dye known as the 'toelet sheni' was developed by the Temple Institute:

The crimson wool is a necessary element in the preparation of the ashes of the red heifer:  The dye is referred to in the Bible as תּוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי (Tola’at Shani). This term is usually translated as crimson wool, but the actual term refers to the insect, which is the source of the dye. The dye produces a unique shade of red used for the Temple curtain, as well as the High Priest’s garments.

In 2002,  Dr. Zohar Amar of Bar Ilan University claimed to have verified the specific insect referred to in the Bible and even extracted some dye. He concluded that the color produced was orange rather than red.

“Josephus describes the color as symbolizing fire, which is orange – as opposed to the red that many think it is. Our production process also produced orange.”

The rabbinic authorities have finally confirmed his conclusions at the Temple Institute. The process is quite involved. In rabbinic literature, the dye is referred to as zehorit, which was extracted from the body of the “crimson worm” (carmine), the Kermes biblicus. In Israel, this worm can be found on the branches of the oak Quercus ithaburensis found in a few specific areas of Israel and for approximately two weeks in the early spring. The females attach egg sacs to the tree and fill them with red eggs. The tree’s egg sacs are difficult to discern due to their size and color. Collecting the insects is painstaking and produces a minuscule amount of the dye. The demonstration was carried out by Rabbi Yehoshua Friedman, the dean of the Mikdash Yeshiva, a Torah institute that focuses on studies concerning the Temple. Rabbi Friedman, who has taken a Nazirite vow and thus has long hair, is a recognized expert in Temple-related issues.

The process begins by dissolving alum in boiling water, and then the insects are immersed in that water. The alum sets the dye and intensifies the crimson color. The wool is then immersed in the water and left to sit for about one hour. After it is removed from the water, the insects are then removed from the wool. Halacha (Jewish law) requires that the wool be immersed all at one and the initial effect of the dye be used for Temple purposes.

A skein of crimson wool dyed in Shani was featured in the culmination of the Yom Kippur Temple Service. A skein was wrapped around the horns of the goat sent to Azazel. The skein of scarlet wool was removed from the goat’s horns and tied to a nearby rock, and thrown from a cliff. The cliff was so sheer that the goat tumbled and was torn to pieces from the fall. If this act of contrition forgave Israel’s sins, the crimson thread would miraculously turn white, as would the thread on the Temple doors. The Prophet Isaiah hinted at this aspect of the Yom Kippur service.

Under the auspices and direction of the Temple Institute, Orna Hirshberg, a resident of Itamar in Samaria, has dedicated herself to bringing back this necessary component of the Temple as part of the Temple-related work that is specific to women.

I consult with the Temple Institute and the rabbis who study the sources in depth. Even so, it is one thing to learn how about the theory of the Temple and something else entirely to learn practically how to create it.”

She is currently working on embroidering garments for the Kohanim and producing the wool for the Red Heifer. She has woven a curtain for the Temple as a model to teach and inspire. In addition, making the curtain taught her a great deal about making the actual curtain.

Archaeologists Discover Physical Proof For Destruction Of Sodom And Gomorrah By God Then Try To Turn It Into A Powerless ‘Jewish Fable’:

Archaeologists investigated the destruction of Tall el-Hammam and discovered an event similar to the description of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by God recorded in Genesis 19.

Archaeologists have unearthed physical proof of what points to the destruction of Tell el-Hammam in the Jordan valley, the region of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Old Testament, and what they found was really wild. They found evidence of an incredible explosion that occurred in the skies above ancient Sodom, an explosion so intense that building down below were destroyed and things were literally vaporized. Yet these highly-educated scientists and archaeologists come away from this discovery no more a believer in the Bible than before they made it, because proof will not sway the stone-cold heart of man that is set against God.

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: Tell el-Hammam in the Jordan Valley might have inspired the story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, according to a new study that has spanned 15 years. In the study, published in the journal Nature on Monday, archaeologists researched the remains of Tell el-Hammam in an attempt to discover what destroyed the ancient city during the Middle Bronze Age. During the period, there were roughly 50,000 people living in the area of the Jordan Valley in three cities: Tell el-Hammam, Jericho, and Tell Nimrin, with Tell el-Hammam the biggest of the three, implying that until its destruction, it would have been the political center of the area. Radiocarbon dating dates the destruction to within 50 years of 1650 BCE.

Examination of the remains revealed evidence of a destructive event that involved high temperatures, such as pottery pieces that were melted and boiled on the exterior, but normal on the inside. The buildings of Tell el-Hammam were made of mud bricks, some five stories tall. In the upper part of the city, the destructive force demolished the buildings to the height of their foundations in the walls, and little mud-brick remained. Of the palace that was in this part of the city, the first floor walls and the upper stories are missing, and most of the mud-brick was pulverized.

The towers in the wall that surrounded the city were also destroyed, with mud-brick remains only existing at the height of the towers’ foundation. To try to discover what could have caused this destruction, the researchers compiled a list of possible events and tested their probability relative to the evidence found at the site.

They initially examined the possibility of a fire, warfare, volcanic eruption, earthquake or lightning, but concluded that these events were unlikely to cause the kind of destruction that they found at the site, because none could have produced the intense heat required to cause the melting that they found.

Having dismissed these events, the researchers turned to two other possibilities: cosmic impact or a cosmic airburst.  The consequences of a crater-forming cosmic impact matched all the evidence found by the archaeologists, but it was dismissed as unlikely because no crater was found in the area. The most likely cause of destruction was a cosmic airburst caused by a comet or meteorite. The consequences of such an event also match the evidence found by the researchers, and using an impact calculator, they were able to estimate the details of the event, which also involved the shock wave hitting Jericho that was burned to the ground.

It can be assumed that the event that destroyed Tell el-Hammam would have been witnessed and recounted through the generations until the time of the biblical Sodom, at which point the event would have been an inspiration for the story, which tells of stones and fire falling from the sky to destroy the city
