Report: Hezbollah Drone Targets Netanyahu’s House; No Injuries:
A Hezbollah drone that evaded Israeli air defenses managed to strike near, or at, the private home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu early Saturday, though he was not physically present, and there were no reported injuries.
Axiosreported that Netanyahu’s private residence in the coastal town of Caesaria was actually hit. The Times of Israel reported that it was “targeted” but did not confirm that the home was actually impacted by the drone strike.
...Netanyahu and his wife were not there at the time.
If successful, the drone attack would have had a significant effect on the war. Israel can be expected to respond — and not necessarily just in Lebanon: the apparent attempt on Netanyahu’s life could mean Iran’s leaders are fair game.
@patrician “The apparent attempt on Netanyahu’s life could mean Iran’s leaders are fair game” the article says. Well it’s about time after all of these decades of carnage.
TheTemple Instituteannounced a remarkable development that brought Israel one step closer to the Third Temple. For the first time since the Temple stood in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago, a kohen (male descendant of Biblical Aaron the High Priest) ascended to the Temple Mount wearing the Biblically mandated Kohanic garments. While on the mount, the Kohen joined in a prayer quorum and gave the priestly blessing to those gathered.
The Temple Institute prepared the garments in preparation for the return of the Temple service.
This impressive feat was accomplished despite the numerous extra-legal restrictions placed on Jews at the site. There is no law preventing Jews from praying on the Temple Mount, and the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Jewish prayer several times. Jews do pray at the site in inconspicuous manners and out of sight from the Arabs, but the police frequently prevent this from happening. On Tuesday, Jews prayed freely in minyanim (quorums of ten).
Dear all, I went to Amir's Behold Israel Page, but only his photo was there and it said,"View in Telegram." My husband insists that he doesn't want me to download Telegram. He says it's Russian disinformation. He told me that Amir is on X, so I signed up for that, but the info was sparce and mostly outdated.
So, I looked on Instagram which was almost all videos. Facebook was the same as X. But, I did find out his father passed away. Maybe later he will reappear on the usual Behold Israel site?
@patrician Something has changed. I read Amir's telegram as Preview Channel, or Open in Telegram Desktop. I don't believe I ever downloaded anything. If I did it was by mistake. I don't recall now exactly how I got there. I have the link saved to my bottom tray so all I have to do is click and it brings up Amir's telegram page. I clicked on it to see if I could help you get there that way too, and guess what, it doesn't work anymore. I got notices wanting me to log in or download or scan a QR code or something. Nope. I'm not tekkie enough to do all that and wouldn't even if I could.
Yes, me too. I never downloaded anything. But, the Jewish people sit shiva after a death.
From Google: "Sitting shiva" is a Jewish mourning ritual that involves a week-long period of sitting together to grieve, reflect, and heal after the burial of a loved one."
I had a Jewish friend who sat shiva after her husband passed but it was only for two days.
