Two more great American lives lost to this nonsence from the Biden administration and their lack of response. Amir Tsarfati: Roy Yanovski: 100 days of reserve service officially ended yesterday. Some initial insights: Gaza is seen as a backward area, the "most densely populated in the world" which has been under Israeli "siege" for years. There is no bigger lie than this. Gaza is a modern, beautiful and developed city - with large and well-equipped houses, wide boulevards, public spaces, a promenade by the sea and parks. Looks much better than any other Arab city from the Jordan to the sea, much more similar to Tel Aviv than Kfar Qasim or Umm Al Fahem. And of course, it is very far from being "the densest in the world." If it's a siege, let me live in a siege - the houses are bursting with goods and food from all the countries of the Middle East, the latest furniture, advanced electrical equipment and whatnot. There are also luxury estates that would not embarrass Savion and Kfar Shmariahu. There is absolutely no shortage of wealth in Gaza. In general, most of the houses I've been in were much bigger than the apartment I live in in Tel Aviv. The sentence "If only they had a chance for a good life, they wouldn't fight in Israel" is simply not relevant to Gaza. Hamas members rarely go around armed. They are neither stupid nor suckers. They know they won't be shot if they go in "civilian" guise. They prepare the IDF ahead of time at the entrances to the buildings and arm themselves just a moment before they attack. That is why the fighting is much more complex than any other arena and anyone who tries to judge from the outside why soldiers shot X or didn't shoot Y should go into Gaza for a week or two and come back with insights. The circle that enables the activity of Hamas is much larger than its tens of thousands of terrorists. The ideology of Hamas is found in almost every home, in pictures, in propaganda materials. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday that there needs to be a “Palestinian state” as the result of the conflict launched by the terrorist group Hamas with the murder of 1,200 Israelis on October 7. Blinken and President Joe Biden have stuck doggedly to their position, claiming that a Palestinian state is a necessary condition for Israel’s integration into the Middle East — precisely the dogma that President Donald Trump junked in the Abraham Accords. Blinken and Biden seem unconcerned that Palestinians have no interest in a state. Hamas, given the chance to govern Gaza, used aid money and materials to import weapons and build 350 miles of underground tunnels — none of which are for civilian use. The Palestinian Authority, the so-called “moderate” alternative . . . . continues to pay Palestinian terrorists and their families, even though doing so means losing U.S. funding for economic and social development. Both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority are primarily interested in replacing Israel, not in living alongside Israel in peace. The events of October 7 have convinced even left-wing Israelis that it would be unsafe, and foolish, to allow Palestinians sovereignty. Blinken and Biden also do not seem to care that giving Palestinians a state, after the worst mass murder of Jews since the Second World War, would reward and incentivize future terrorism, giving Palestinians what they refused to achieve through diplomacy. Indeed, when Saudi Arabia sought peace with Israel last year, the Biden administration reportedly stalled [the] progress by insisting [on] concessions to the Palestinians. The Washington and Davos elites want a Palestinian state more than Palestinians, or Arabs, do. Hundreds of members of the Bnei Menashe community in northeastern India, who descend from a “lost tribe” of Israel, gathered yesterday in Aizawl, in the Indian state of Mizoram, to show their support and solidarity with the state of Israel as it marks 100 days since the war in Gaza began. During the gathering, they marched in the streets of the city, waved Israeli flags and called on the government of Israel to allow them to make Aliyah (immigration to Israel) immediately so they could join the IDF and fight alongside other Israeli soldiers whom they call “our brothers and sisters”. “The Bnei Menashe are dedicated Zionists and passionate about the State of Israel, its people and their security. It is no coincidence that so many of them serve in combat units in the IDF, and we are proud of their willingness to risk their lives alongside other Israeli soldiers to defend the Land and people of Israel,” said Shavei Israel’s founder and chairman, Michael Freund. “Since the war broke out, Shavei Israel has received hundreds of requests from young community members in northeastern India asking to make Aliyah immediately,” Michael Freund said. “Not only that – they are asking to join the IDF immediately to fight shoulder to shoulder with their brothers and sisters.” The Bnei Menashe, or sons of Manasseh, claim descent from one of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel, who were sent into exile by the Assyrian Empire more than 27 centuries ago. Their ancestors wandered through Central Asia and the Far East for centuries, before settling in what is now northeastern India, along the borders of Burma and Bangladesh. Throughout their sojourn in exile, the Bnei Menashe continued to practice Judaism just as their ancestors did, including observing the Shabbat, keeping kosher, celebrating the festivals, and following the laws of family purity. Down through the generations, they nourished the dream of one day returning to the land of their ancestors, the Land of Israel. Thus far, Shavei Israel has made the dream of Aliyah, immigration to Israel, possible for over 5,000 Bnei Menashe and plans to help bring more members of the community to Israel. Currently, there are 5,000 Bnei Menashe awaiting their return to the Jewish homeland. Amir Tsarfati: At the direction of Prime Minister Netanyahu and following the conclusion of the head of the Mossad in Raana with Qatar on the issue of supplying medicine to the Israeli hostages - tomorrow, two Qatari Air Force planes are expected to take off to Egypt, including the medicines purchased in France, according to a list compiled in Israel, in accordance with the medical needs of the abductees. . . . Israel insists that all the medicines reach their destination. he Hamas spokesman gave a rare speech on the 100 day anniversary of the war against Israel. In his speech, he cited the arrival of the red heifers in Israel as one of the motives for the massacre of Jews on October 7. Arab-language media covered Abu Abeidah’s speech extensively, focusing on the red heifer while noting that five red female calves were brought to Israel in September 2022. After the announcement of the arrival of the cows, Hamas reacted almost immediately, warning that the potential Jewish ritual posed a threat to Al Aqsa. https://www.israel365news.com/382489/hamas-spokesman-oct-7-attack-launched-to-stop-the-red-heifers/ The US conducted a fourth round of strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen on Wednesday night after the Houthis continued targeting commercial vessels, a US official told CBS News. The strikes targeted several sites that were prepared to launch attacks, the official said. US Central Command (CENTCOM) later confirmed it struck 14 Houthi missiles that were ready to be fired. “In the context of ongoing multi-national efforts to protect freedom of navigation and prevent attacks on U.S. and partner maritime traffic in the Red Sea, on Jan. 17 at approximately 11:59 p.m. (Sanaa time), U.S. Central Command forces conducted strikes on 14 Iran-backed Houthi missiles that were loaded to be fired in Houthi controlled areas in Yemen. These missiles on launch rails presented an imminent threat to merchant vessels and U.S. Navy ships in the region and could have been fired at any time, prompting U.S. forces to exercise their inherent right and obligation to defend themselves. These strikes, along with other actions we have taken, will degrade the Houthi’s capabilities to continue their reckless attacks on international and commercial shipping in the Red Sea, the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, and the Gulf of Aden,” it said in a post on X. Amir Tsarfati: Even Al Jazeera is now reporting:

Gaza is the only place in the world where 500 dead are reported half an hour after an explosion. . . . . the Palestinian Ministry of Health knows already a minute after the explosion what the damage is. This is ridiculous and the world media quoting the numbers as living words of God is pathetic.

The Wall Street Journal has revealed that this month, like clockwork, the Palestinian Authority is set to disburse funds to thousands of terrorists and their families, including those who invaded Israel and participated in the October 7 massacre. This is the 'partner' upon which Israel is expected to rely upon for peace and security…

Abu Obeida, the military spokesman for the Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas terrorist organization, made a televised appearance on the 100th day of the Israeli war on Gaza. The televised speech was the first time he had appeared in seven weeks as, during that time, all of his public statements were either audio recordings or written statements.
