Before Isaiah prophesied the trouble ahead of Israel in verse 10, we find a vile person in verse 5 to 8. This vile person is the same vile person in Daniel 11:21, known as Anti Christ. 5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. 6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. 7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right. 8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand. This vile person shall bring trouble to Israel in verse 10. "Many days and years" is understood as "days above a year" in Hebrew . To be more exact, God foretold this "days above a year" as 390 days of siege on Jerusalem in Ezekiel 4:9-17. "for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come" Vintage/Grape harvest takes place in fall and there is only one gathering in fall which is the feast of Ingathering/Tabernacle. "the gathering shall not come" points to some tragedy befallen on Israel while they are gathering in Jerusalem and observe the feast of Tabernacle. I am going to use this scenario for better illustration. Anti Christ is invited to the dedication of third temple in Jerusalem. This is why Daniel prophesied "he shall enter also into the glorious land" in Daniel 11:41. Solomon dedicated the temple on feast of Tabernacle. It is very likely in future Israelis follow Solomon's step and dedicate their third temple on feast of Tabernacle. It is late September, early October when AC arrives in Jerusalem, and stands in the holy place which is the third temple. Jesus has forewarned the Jews when they see the abomination stands in the holy place, they should flee and pray that their flight is not in winter. For Jews who heed Jesus' warning, they start to flee and leave Jerusalem in late September, early October., and avoid fleeing in winter. This is not winter yet. But tragic event happens to AC which results in his hands wither and right eye is dried. Most likely it is an assassination attempt on him. Nation uproars and begin to gather army and surround Jerusalem. Miraculously AC survives and comes back alive. He places his abomination on the third temple, most likely his image, declares that he is god. This is also the beginning of 1290 days. By this time, winter has arrived. Those Jews who are left in Jerusalem shall oppose his image and his self declaring of being god. But it is too late because Jerusalem is already under siege by armies. A joyful gathering of celebrating feast of Tabernacle and the third temple turns into a tragedy. Using my timeline, these 390 days of siege shall begin on and around October 2023, ends on October 2024. At the end of these 390 days, wall shall be breached, the two witnesses shall be killed. The 3.5 days in Revelation 11:11 may point to their resurrection in the middle of feasts of Tabernacle which is a 7 days feast. 7 days divided by 2 equals to 3.5 days. Few years ago I had a strange experience. While I was pondering on three days and an half, a thought came to me "Think Tabernacle !!". At that moment I understood what the 3.5 days implication is. Feasts of Tabernacle is a 7 days feast. 3.5 days points to the "middle" of the feast. 7 days divided by 2 equals to 3.5 days. The two witnesses shall be killed on the evening of Tishri 14 2024. 3.5 days places their resurrection in the morning of Tishri 18 around 6 am Jerusalem time. This is the time of Second woe, a big earthquake and 7000 are killed. Subtract 1260 days from Tishri 14 2024, their ministry shall begin on May 5 2021, very close to Ascension day.
