Press into the Holy Spirit. It is Him who is the source of our joy anyway. I think God is allowing us to still be here for a number of reasons but one is so we will stop looking to the world for our joy. I know it’s no fun having to deal with the way things are. My business life is completely upside down and it’s extremely frustrating trying to get what used to be routine tasks accomplished. Forecasting future business is an absolute joke yet we’re still required to do it. It’s like a clown show out there. I seldom see my friends anymore and I certainly don’t travel far if at all. My frequent flyer miles are zero since March 2020 and I’ve put hardly any miles on my car. Life is a big puzzle these days. But the Lord still reaches down and directs our paths and we have to look to Him and press into Him if we’re are to survive and keep our sanity. It’s crazy and yet exciting because the Lord is peeling my hand (and yours) from this world. We’ve had it so easy compared to so many who have come before us. Now, we must rely on the Lord the guide and lead us and in some cases provide for us. He is readying us to leave this world behind. We can resist it or embrace it but God is going to have His way either way. True that! Just so frustrating and unfulfilling! But we do have each other, even if Dan is not here!
