yohanan-thanks for that encouragement to "Press into the Holy Spirit."!!  you are right, joy itself is a fruit of- produced by- the Holy Spirit within us...we don't have to try to make peace or joy within ourselves- that's bound to fail...

yes, y'all, we must press into our Lord Who loves us...read His Word...abide in Him and allow Him to do the rest...may we all learn better to rest in Him and allow His work in and on us...it is a difficult time we are in (to say the least), but we are blessed to see so much more than we expected of the "how?" questions of the soon to come Revelation happenings

Great attitude Sis!

Again, all I need is Jesus and some chocolate and even Hell seems to disappear!

TR — I would agree that life seems to be one thing after another. Read a sign recently:

Normal is not coming back — but Jesus is!

My hubby and I are just coming off of a 7 day fight with the flu — yep, not covid — the flu (it is still around) - add that with living in our camper as this house reno is winding down to maybe we can move in by the end of Feb (prefer home on high), the below freezing temps (makes it difficult to get water to the camper - no, I did not buy a heated hose for this only winter camping adventure - oh and try not having that water to flush the toilet — what a challenge). So life can be hard at times, but God is always faithful and as Yohanan encouraged - we have so much more to look forward to for such a longer timeframe then this taste of life … a fav verse this week is

2 Cor. 4:17-18  “For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.“

We so got this! :prayer-hands:
