I like Pastor JD's description of 1Th 4:18 'Wherefore comfort one another with these words'. He's emphasizing that the rapture means the church will be saved from God's wrath. "Come up hither", it's comforting to know that the seals begin after the church is taken. I don't know how anyone can translate that differently, unless they are selling survival equipment. I'll leave my lights on for him and there's food in the freezer. 😉
