Thank you for answered prayer. :yahoo: Praying for a blessed and safe trip!! ??☺️ Thanks to prayers from my online family (Ritan & Harpazo), I've managed to make it to my family for the Christmas holidays after a years absence. I've not travelled in my van as the replacement alternator did not fix the issue, but my mechanic offered to bench test the original alternator and has found that it is working perfectly and the issue is wiring related, which will be incestigated in he new year. So I havea spare alternator, I have found a local mechanic for future work, found the most likely reason for non charging of the battery and I've been provided with the means to hire a car via disabilty payments to travel to my family for the Christmas holiday, thanks to the Lord. I originally booked to hire the smallest car in the car hire's fleet, but they offered a free upgrade to an 8 mile old mid level car (don't talk to me about Stop/Start car technolgy!), I travelled trouble free on Thursday afternoon and will be staying with family for 7 days.
