As a pre trib believer I have a list of things that I think prove the pre trib rapture. But I am interested in what other members here would use to prove the pre trib rapture to someone new who comes on this forum and either doubts, denies, or is simply not sure of the pre trib rapture. :bible Yours in Christ, Phil For me the best proof was the first proof I ever heard when I was going through a study on the Book of Revelation. It was pointed out that the 7 churches in Chapters 1 - 3 had to do with the Church age. Then in Revelation 4:1 you have the Rapture taking place "Come up hither" and then the church isn't even mentioned again until I think Revelation 19 after the Tribulation. And if a person can't see that as proof then I don't know what will Hey Phil! I start with the scripture in both Thessalonians, and emphasis on that we are not appointed to wrath....but strangely I also like to use the old testament here to support pre-trib.....Historically, when massive judgment was going to come down, God removed the righteous before....He safely tucked Noah and family into the ark and He closed the door Himself. He had the angels physically drag Lot and family out of Sodom before destruction. Many people say that the seals aren't God's wrath....but I don't see how they get that because when I read the results of the opening of the seals, I see death, war, famine, starvation and martyrdom.....all of that rings wrath to me, and with the trumpets and bowls it get so much worse.....in my humble opinion I think the judgements get worse because if people alive during the trib reject Jesus after the rapture and the seals, the word of the witnesses etc...then they are mostly deciding which side they are choosing and then the punishments ramp up. Anyway that's a little of what I use when I get the opportunity. Yep, Paul reveals the sequence of events when the rapture takes place and then when the AC will show up Share with them: I Thess 4:14-18 - this is the rapture Then in the 2nd book II Thess 2:1-12 - the AC shows up Verse 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, (the rapture already happened in I Thess 4:14-18) Verses 2-12 (talks about the man of sin is revealed) Agree with everything here, especially with Noah and Lot anaylogies! Lastly, Israel prepared and given marching orders in advance of “crossing over” into the promised land! TR
