Dear TR, are you saying that you had a vision of seeing the heavens and earth rolled up as a scroll? And that you received a promise that you would live to see it? If so, I would like to hear more about that experience. Yes Patricia, I have shared this a couple of times! Firstly, on a bright Saturday afternoon at the age of approximately 12 yrs old scanning the rolling foothills of California from my back porch a large screen appeared in the foreground! I immediately understood that all that had been created in Heaven and Earth were within the outlines of this screen. The picture I initially looked at was not important as the scene would change and disappear! Seemingly both seemed to be pulled backwards as the screen differentiated between things in the Heavenlies and things of the Earth! They independently would collapse upon themselves in the center of the screen and disappear as being pulled from behind! My sense was they were being rolled up beyond my view! While I was watching this God spoke to my inner being, saying: Denis, you are watching the end of the world and you will live to see it! Surprised at being called by name it spoke of my being known by God! This open vision repeated in direct succession three times, with nothing changing! I was a confused boy of twelve hardly knowing what to make of this, what to take away and spent years studying the scriptures seeking confirmation that it was indeed from the Lord! I was silent for many years before I felt that this was truly from the Lord, and that I was released to speak of it! 58 years later it is still fresh in my mind and spirit! Again, the medium that God chose seemed to best speak to me! I took a writing class for one semester at a Jr. college and was tasked to write a paper of my choosing! I wrote of my vision! The teacher handed back my graded paper and said Denis, your not a writer, your a prophet! I could speak more and give details, but that the basic upshot! Just as I was given knowledge that all of creation was involved, I was also given the phrase being rolled up as a scroll when replaying it in my mind! TR Prophet is but a title that I could not live up to and one that I could never claim for myself! Only God can call and confer that title and office! I pointed out the reaction of a middle aged Asian writing teacher! Apparently it spoke to him! Again, I rarely mention the event except to say that it was all part of my relationship with God, and training my Spirit to hear His voice! Suffice to say, God has made it plain to me in so many ways that He had a purpose for my life! As I should have never survived natural birth without His intervention! Denis, soon, brother, we will all see the fulfillment of Gods gift to you as a young lad, who was ready in his child’s heart to receive His word. Maybe God gave it to you, just to write a paper and have an Asian English Teacher read it and see God, or it may have been just for you, who knows — ah yes God does and He certainly knows your name …. I'm right behind you by a couple of years... (old guys rule). Every day we're another day closer - but it sure seems like the minute hand is getting awfully close to midnight. Again, many confirmations that it was genuine! Samuel as a young boy heard God calling unto him! Peter's vision of a sheet with animals appeared three times! Issiah had an similar vision! At the age of twelve in the jewish tradition boys became men! Likewise with my birth, the hand of God was also apparent! Born in the 7th month of gestation, on the third day of the month, weighing 17 oz, and born in 1952 = 17! Always wanting to give God the credit, I point to His hand of protection since my conception and His dealings in my life! TR Again, the question remains, how much longer! As you can tell, I've been waiting for these days for a long time! Indeed, we see the world as man has known it being dismantled and destroyed! Our vantage point will soon change and our attentions will be heavenly focused! What a day of rejoicing that will be! TR I’ve always walked a fine line between disclosure and bragging on God! At this late stage, now is the time for bragging on God! Again it’s not about me, who am I?! Let me encourage one and all to declare His mighty works! TR Yes let us bragg on the Lord before the fact in faith and after He has blessed! Whether mighty works, or His abiding love! Let us sing forth His praises and lift the brethren! He will find it altogether pleasing! TR
