There are a few things I would like to point out here. Legalism, or strict adherence to law, brings death. When the Law was given to Moses 3000 people died. By contrast, when the Holy Spirit was given 3000 people were saved. The Law does not save. It brings death. The Law was given to point to our need for a Savior. Its entire purpose was to point to Jesus. God knew we could never ever live up to the Law. Aside from Jesus the most morally high man ever to walk this earth was Job. He was very righteous and yet the theme of Job is repentance. We can never live a life good enough.

This entire thread went off the tracks with this statement:

We cannot knowingly walk in the works of the flesh.  So my question is, who are you calling out?? You come to this forum, unknown to all of us and begin to accuse Brothers and Sisters of knowingly walking in the works of the flesh. By your posts you seem to think your mission is to save us through your way of thinking and yet you know none of us.

Again, back to my original post, Jesus teaches us that nothing defiled will enter the Kingdom of God, and the works of the flesh defile us.   Just remember that this includes pride as well.

Nothing defiled will enter in. Our garments must be white,   Who do you think makes your garment white? YOU!?!?! Certainly not! It is Christ’s FINISHED work on the cross for those who put their faith in HIM, not by our works. When we put our works in the equation we have a “Jesus+” religion and there is no +. Only Jesus. Our works are a fruit of the Spirit Who lives within us. Without Him we are less than nothing. Our works are as filthy rags in His sight.

Defiled Christians are not saved.  That is a contradiction of terms. If we are in Christ (Christian) we are not defiled. We are cleansed of our sins. But one thing is guaranteed, we will ALL stumble.

Stephan, your posts sound an awful lot like you belong to the Holiness Church. Perhaps not but it has all the earmarks. One thing I have found in common with Holiness people is the lack of joy from the Holy Spirit. In conversations with such I have found them to be harsh, judgmental, and lacking in any mercy. If you are one of these people then please find another forum to be a member of. This forum is a group of Jesus loving believers who are looking forward to His return. We love Him and want to be free from our flesh. We cannot wait to live with Him and live under His government. This forum is NOT a place to come preaching and telling us we are all going to hell because we do not believe the way that you do. It is called Rapture In The Air, hence we are here to discuss things relating to end times and the rapture. You are welcome to participate but keep your preaching to yourself.
