I agree with you Heidi. I believe America is Mystery Babylon. The buildings in Washington DC were modeled after Roman architecture. I believe Rev. 18 describes NYC ... with its fashion, jewlrey, perfume, advertising. NYC is a seaport known for its trade and there is a town off the coast of Long Island called Babylon, NY NYC is known as the city that never sleeps. Action during the day and at night with broadway shows Frank Sinatra made the NY song famous New York, New York If I can make it there I can make it anywhere its up to you NY, NY Mystery Babylon is known for its horses - the US has the triple crown thoroughbred horse racing - Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes Mystery Babylon is known for its chariots - auto industry Mystery Babylon is known for reaching the stars - NASA space program Mystery Babylon is known for its music Mystery Babylon is an exporter of wheat, corn and grain- America is still the main supplier to the world. Great input from one and all. Certainly the Lord is pleased that we search the scriptures daily, and that we are longing for His return. I don't want to cry wolf, or have anyone else do so as well.
