A day that will define and expose eternity! And no matter the words that are penned, none can capture it's glory! TR Well … Dr. Pepper was on sale so I bought it  It’s been a while since I had this soft drink. I was reminded of the old catchy commercial … “Dr. Pepper so misunderstood!” Remember this blast from the past? - Fair Use - I was curious of the history of this carbonated soft drink so I googled it. The creator was Charles Alderton, American Pharmacist in Waco, TX. He had a pharmacy drug store along with the soda fountain. Apparently people were tired of sarsaparilla (lemon and vanilla flavor sodas) … so he invented this soft drink … introduction was in 1885 preceded Coca-Cola by 1 year. And in 1904 … 20 million people in attendance of the World’s Fair Exposition in St. Louis, MO got a chance to sample the new carbonated drink. Also read Charles Alderton was a mason … are we surprised? He joined the Waco Masonic Lodge No. 92 in June 25, 1908 and then was elected “Master” in June 1911. Sad … how most of these inventors/rich people want to be part of that dark dark club.
