Whatever miss information, deception or confusion there might be, I like to look at the bright side.  At least the name of Jesus is being spoken!  Perhaps causing some to ask, is this the Jesus of the Bible?!

Just another avenue by which the Holy Spirit can work through.  Or so it seems to me.  Whether through or by perfect theology and religion, or the through the darkness of Satan, God is greater than all of these things!

For this, I can only give Him the glory!

TR this is true - Philippians 1:18 “What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice." ... Whether their motives are false or genuine, the message about Christ is being preached either way, so I rejoice. And I will continue to rejoice."

it gets better...Philippians 2:8-12 New Living Translation (NLT)
8     he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Revelation 5:11-13 New Living Translation (NLT)
11 Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. 12 And they sang in a mighty chorus:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered—
    to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing.”
13 And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power
belong to the one sitting on the throne
and to the Lamb forever and ever.”

its been almost 2000 years since John the baptist began preaching baptism of repentance and Jesus was baptized in the Jordan. in a study bible it gives the date of 27AD for Luke 3:1.

John's father was a priest, a Levite. This reminds me of when Joshua was going to lead Israel across the Jordan. It was Levites that carried the ark to the other side, and it was a Levite who baptised Jesus - Joshua 3:1-4

There was a distance of about 2000 cubits between the people and the Levite priests who carried the ark. Our God has perfect understanding and perfect timing. Luke 3:1-6, 21-22

God is still keeping track of timing. God knows the distance of time, how l---o---n---g it has been since that Jordan crossing, since John the baptist passed Jesus through the Jordan, since the ascension into heaven, since the first Pentecost, since each of us began to watch for the Lord's return. Jesus won't be late for a very important date. maybe that time when Israel understands the way they must go, calling on Jesus to save them and ushering in His return, will be 2027?

Indeed.  If He be for us, who can be against us!  Again, God might not be early or according to our time frame, but He is never late to fulfill His grand purposes!

Even after eternity has been fulfilled, we shall never tire of praising His glorious name!  Our fervor for Him shall only continue to grow, mature and become ever sweeter!!!

The richness of His love and glory shall never run dry nor be any less desired by us.  Time must be done away with as it cannot contain the fullness of His measure.  My love, my glorious love Jesus!

Interesting article from a secular standpoint on the chaos going on around the world. So the media is seeing this and beginning to talk about it. Dread for 2020 is ratcheting up as well. Sadly, they have reason to fear if they do not have a relationship with Jesus.
