Quoting from Arthur's article:

Turkish state media channel TRT last week aired a documentary opposing the EastMed pipeline titled The Pipe Dream, which includes footage of State Department Senior Advisor for Energy Security Amos Hochstein discussing the matter before he was appointed to his current position.
Hochstein said he would be “extremely uncomfortable with the US supporting this project” because of its environmental implications.

“Why would we build a fossil fuel pipeline between the EastMed and Europe when our entire policy is to support new technology... and new investments in going green and in going clean?” he asked. “By the time this pipeline is built, we will have spent billions of taxpayer money on something that is obsolete – not only obsolete but against our collective interest between the US and Europe.”

So, aside from the politics involved, they don't like the idea of a pipeline because it's just not green energy.

Bulletin:  Energy sources with their associated delivery systems have become obsolete, according to Turkish and Western officials including California governor Gavin Troublesome.

Energy origination through extraction, and all nuclear, fossil fuel, and hydroelectric generation and delivery facilities, including pipelines, are hereby declared obsolete!

Green policy once again reigns triumphant!  And there are no down-sides!

For those cautiously in doubt however, here is what is certain:  Energy-source-free energy-generating batteries to power vehicles, heat homes, power factories, light cities, and even power ocean going vessels, are currently in global mass production.

Even better news -- also supporting green policy decisions -- is that all historical energy sourcing and distribution systems must necessarily be dismantled and recycled -- creating jobs!

{Tips on where to obtain blankets and candles will be gratis.}

If I am not mistaken, I believe the EU, out of desperation perhaps, has declared nuclear and natural gas to be green energy now. Will try to find the source.

Does this mean they are going to nix the electric cars???   Yesterday I just paid the highest ever for gasoline $3.37 for the cheapest  it wasn’t pretty.  If Trump was still in office we would be paying like $1 something.  I wish this insane government would open up the keystone pipeline once more …
