The raising of Lazarus was the last great miracle Jesus performed before the Jewish leaders decided that they really had to do something about this Messiah. After that, there is an interesting passage in John 12 about a banquet that Mary, Martha, and Lazarus held in Jesus' honor after Lazarus came back to life. "Six days before the Passover, Jesus, therefore, came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 So they gave a dinner for him there. Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those reclining with him at table." (ESV) And then came Passover, the Crucifixion, etc. So, we know that Lazarus was raised shortly before Passover. Hmmmm!
