Kolleen, I have been doing that for years now — so as the time is short and the expense is not something you may be able to do — simple things that are convenient from stores right now are beans and rice — Recommend to get as much of that as you think you may need for 6 months. If not for you and your place survives the first wave of horsemen - for those left. You can actually buy beans from amazon. They are a good protein source. Dried garbanzo beans can be soaked to rehydrate them and then made into humus. You can also get canned beans, black beans, kidney beans, northern beans, navy beans are all common and currently available. I love rice and have several varieties, wild, yellow, basmati, jasmine, and white are easy and common. Other rices such as red rice and black rice are awesome in taste but difficult to find sometimes. Reconstituting these times can be done with water or broth. I buy dry bone broth for the protein. Protein powders are readily available but a bit pricey. I know some folks that buy extra ensure shakes and so forth. Give a portion to seven, or even to eight, for you know not what disaster may happen on earth.“ Good grief — Noah prepared for 100 years. He put away all sorts of food stuff as God directed him. The flood was coming as God said — well guess what — the rapture is coming as God said….. We do not know what we may see live through, so we are strong, wise, prepared, and ready for whatever may come. God did not give us the spirit of fear but of sound mind — we are waiting for our blessed hope and we are to be wise and busy in that waiting… He is coming back for us and it is very soon!
