Woohoo ... :yahoo:   You’ll enjoy reading this one! :popcorn :popcorn

A Logical Date for the Rapture

God told us that he does nothing on this earth without first revealing it to His servants, the prophets (Amos 3:7). How could He possibly allow the greatest event since the crucifixion to occur without first telling us when it will happen??

Doesn’t the Bible tell us that we can even know the very hour if we watch?

Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore, if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. Revelation 3:3 NKJV

Taking a step back in order to see the “big picture,” it would seem to me that God will tell us in a way that is very straight forward, simple, and easy to understand by everybody when the rapture will take place.

The Revelation 12 Sign was all about the Rapture of the Church. It was a unique event in all of history. It was also a signpost. A point to measure from. A warning to get ready. A warning to repent.

I am convinced that the Rapture of the Church will occur 40 sidereal months after the Revelation 12 Sign. Precisely 40 sidereal months after the Revelation 12 Sign is Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, on September 18th thru September 20th, 2020.

How did I come up with the number 40??

Numbers in the Bible are very important. Forty is the number for testing. For example, Jesus fasted for 40 days before starting His ministry. Moses and Elijah also fasted for 40 days in the desert. The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years before entering the Promised Land. The Bible tells us the Ezekiel laid on his right side for 40 days to bear the iniquity of Judah’s sins. Three of Israel’s most famous kings each ruled for 40 years – Solomon, David, and Saul. Goliath taunted the armies of Israel for 40 days before being killed by young David. God killed every living thing by raining on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights during the Great Flood. When God proclaimed judgment against Egypt, He said that Egypt would be desolate for 40 years. God gave Nineveh 40 days to repent or be destroyed. Israel was in captivity to the Philistines for 40 years. The spies that Moses sent to check on the Promised Land were there for 40 days. Speaking about Moses, he was on Mount Sinai for 40 days the first time he went up to get the ten commandments from God and again for 40 days the second time he went up the mountain. There are many other examples. In fact, the number 40 appears 159 times in the Bible. Perhaps God is trying to tell us something.

Why do I count sidereal months??

The moon has always been symbolic of the Bride of Christ. The moon does not give off any light of its own. Rather, it reflects the light of the sun (Son). It is also a heavenly body of incredible beauty.

After a period of precisely 40 sidereal months, the moon once again returns to a place beneath the feet of the woman, depicted by the constellation Virgo. It does so on Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, in 2020, just as it did on September 23, 2017, when the Revelation 12 Sign was fulfilled.

For those who are unfamiliar, a sidereal month is 27 days, 7 hours, 43 minutes, and 12 seconds long. It is the amount of time needed for the moon to return to the same place against the background of stars as seen from the earth. A sidereal month is not to be confused with a synodic month, which is a little over two days longer.

Sidereal months are the appropriate unit to use when counting forward from the Revelation 12 Sign because they involve the perceived position of the moon against the background of stars, as seen from the earth.

The beauty of the Revelation 12 Sign as a signpost and a point to measure forward from is that it is in the heavens for the entire population of the earth to observe. Likewise, it can also be understood by all of mankind regardless of what language each person may speak. This entire concept is beautifully simplistic.

The Revelation 12 Sign was also a warning to get ready and to repent.

Didn’t God tell us in the very first chapter of the very first book of the Bible that He put lights in the heavens to be for signs and for seasons as well as for counting days and years??

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years. Genesis 1:14 KJV

Make it so Lord!  We're ready, able, and willing.   Every day I wake up wondering what craziness is going to erupt around the world and every day I'm not disappointed in the volume of news stories that just make me shake my head in disbelief.   The blatancy of the craziness is what amazes me.   I live in Portland Oregon - a hot bed of riots - 11 straight weeks of violence and unrest.   Even the people protesting are starting to lose the story line of why they are protesting.   Come quickly Lord -

Everything is getting more squirrelly by the day. Where are the adults?!  I’m praying for the Feast of Trumpets (FOT) as the Rapture Day.  It’s the next Feast day to be fulfilled. Only makes sense. I don’t see repentance and revival; I just see more decline. The world is polar, people are dug in, and I don’t see the point in hanging around here anymore. So I’m calling FOT!

I’m holding to imminent (any minute) —— I’ll take today, tomorrow, the next day ... whatever the Lord of heaven determines is the right time. His Perfect Will be done, rest in knowing and have His peace that we will go, right on time. Just keep that lamp ready! :prayer-hands:

I see huge revival. In China the church is flourishing. The harder the government cracks down, the more it grows. In Iran, as well. The church in India is growing leaps and bounds in spite of harsh persecution. Also, I believe that the fastest growing church in the world is in Afghanistan.
There is a huge harvest of souls and that will continue through the Tribulation. God is working powerfully in these last days.

Indeed so, but the Church in America is all but through, IMHO!

I don't see huge revivals here again, or Azuza St types!

And roaring like a lion just doesn't glorify God!  Let alone uncontrollable laughter.

The American church has simply played every angle.  Jesus saves not new doctrinal truths!

Leaving us behind, He is reaching out to other folds!

Indeed He still gathers in due season!  Gleaning what can be gleaned here in America, and then casting His net to the uttermost parts of the Earth.

He is patient and thorough, but harvesting and gathering will soon come to an end!

Then His bride will be made complete gathered into His presence!

Yes! There is huge revival taking place in Iran. They cannot get enough Farsi Bibles into the country. The more they print, the more they need.
