I don’t want to nitpick … but doesn’t this sound like he is adding “WORKS” to salvation? I have watched a lot of Perry Stone videos and I don't recall him ever advocating a works based salvation. I could be wrong about that, of course. As Born again believers, we are servants of God. What do servants do? They serve. There have been a lot of predictions out there that were "interesting," but unfortunately nothing came of them. Some of the folks sound very passionate, yet they don't pass the litmus test of having what they say actually happen. Therefore, they can be disregarded. I make a distinction with people who are merely stating what they "think" will happen by a certain time frame. That in itself is risky, although they aren't claiming it is a word from the Lord. The ones that are really dangerous are those who attach a particular false teaching to what they are promoting. It's one thing to say, "Yes, I might be mistaken and I'm only speculating about possibilities." It's another to tell people, "I am a prophet of God and you will be held accountable if you doubt what I'm saying." Those people need to be ignored. I can imagine many plots. If you listen to all of the talk of his return, it does sound very convincing.
