The Plains of Megiddo have always been a natural place for war. Quite the spectacular view from Mount Carmel, BTW. 
It would be ironic, and very cool, if they were used for the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. Finally redeemed from a place of bloodshed to a place of love and celebration.
