What is the most important scripture verse, memorable quote or Godly wisdom that your parents, grandparents, older mentor or best friend has taught you and that you find useful in living in these last days?

My parents - “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.“

My aunt - (she’s referring to humans) ...“expect nothing from anybody and you won’t be disappointed”.

Seems like every time I read the Word, I find a new fav.

But one that sticks with me is Psalm 28:7  ....my heart trusted in Him and I am helped.

This seems to cover it all for me. As well as transcending the past, present and future.

And a favorite saying is:  Be patient, I'm still getting over myself.

Psa 91:1-2  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

&

Mic 6:8  He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

I found this verse 41 years ago, soon after I heard about the rapture...and it has never failed to comfort me during the waiting and longing for our Lord to come for us...

Hebrews 10:37   For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and  will not delay.

Hang on Brothers and Sisters!!!!!
