End time jitters is the best way I can explain the emotional state of "watchers" today. Timelines continue to surface, and once again dates come and go! The only thing I can't seem to figure out is why the Church needs to be here to see what it has??? We have not argued with any end-time scenario the Bible has presented. Quite the contrary we look forward to them. So then why is it so critical for the Church to be present to witness all that has happened already?! Why must we experience the labor pains of the world when we are not of the world??? We don't need further convincing, for end-time "watchers" are already convinced that these are the last days, and that the Rapture is soon upon us?! The question then becomes, what could be God's motivation for tarrying for His Bride? Is not the Church around the world already experiencing persecution? Must it truly be universally experienced? And if so, what need would this satisify in God's heart? Whether we remain for three months or three years, what's the difference? I'll be the first to say His will, not ours! But what then are we missing?! Any thoughts? It also seems to me to be a wash of sorts. Some enter the kingdom, some leave the kingdom??? I think the church is still here because the Holy Spirit in us is restraining the flood gates of wickedness from exploding until that very last believer gets saved. I’m surprised we are still here though. I find it weird how so many believers are not watchers and alert and still think this world is a fantastic place. I just don’t get that they don’t have the wisdom to see how dark and evil this world has become and that its ripe for judgement. Consider Job 38:1-3... Then consider Job 42:1-6. Just sayin' God knows when the Rapture will take place, He seats Kings and governments, He knows the end from the beginning already. So in our minds with the decreasing state of the world, it seems that He is tarrying. We are moving forward to a single point in time (the Rapture), that point in time is fixed, not moving away or continuously being moved to match world events. Might add 1Cor.2:9-12 to consider. Also, just sayin' !!![]()
