Judas was called the son of perdition, a title that is also given to the Antichrist. IMHO, and I say this sadly, I don’t believe Judas Iscariot will be in heaven. 🙁 PS. I think I’m in the running, too. :stinkerbell: Arthur, brother, you are among a crowd. I certainly understand David’s Psalm, “I would rather be a door keeper in the house of the Lord than in the tents of the wicked“ ... no dust and dirt in heaven, but I’ll sweep streets of gold, clean toilets in Gods house than be the head of anything on this old world! :prayer-hands: The last shall be first! TR I ponder about whether Judas regretted betraying the Lord Jesus for the love of money (30 pieces of silver). Goes to show being unsaved, the devil or demons can indwell a person at any time. Then after the devil left him he must of thought what did I do?! He didn’t want the silver any longer and hung himself. Could he have gotten saved before he committed suicide? But then the Holy Spirit needs to be upon a person to convict the person of their need of Salvation. Perhaps it was too late for Judas? And then there is this verse ... Matt 26:24 For the Son of Man must die, as the Scriptures declared long ago. But how terrible it will be for the one who betrays him. It would be far better for that man if he had never been born!” Sounds like Judas didn’t make heaven after all. Judas can truly say: the Devil made me do it! The rest of us have no such excuse! He committed suicide in regret and remorse. Or perhaps prompted by Satan! TR
