Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." I've always wondered about this phrase... I heard Steven DeNoon on YouTube suggest this phrase might have been God's encouraging believers in the last days to get together, not yield to social pressure. Church doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be gathering in a church building. Church could also be in a home or talking over the phone line or thru emails, etc. I think it’s interesting the early church in the book of Acts was meeting in homes and here in the closing of the church age ... it seems to be reverting back to that. Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Well said! Ritan can also be considered a church! TR We are the "called out ones. " Wherever we are, there is a church. 1 Cor 6:19-20 “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” Temple - a building devoted to the worship, or regarded as the dwelling place, of a god or gods or other objects of religious reverence. Dictionary, Fair Use Each of us who have been born again by His grace are part of the church... TR is correct, even on RITAN when we sign in, we are meeting, we pray for one another, we encourage each other, we discuss God’s Holy Word, we have partnered together to watch and pray! We are the church. :prayer-hands:
