The wiping away of tears and the healing of the nations is for those born in flesh and blood during the 1000 yrs of natural birth! TR We all sin. Because the Holy Spirit lives within us, we have the power through Him not to sin, but we sin anyway because we want to often without thinking. When we do stop and think, we stop not out of fear of God but rather out of love for God. We then ask the Holy Spirit to guide us and help us to resist that sin. We love Jesus and do not want to grieve him. Whether a person asks our forgiveness or not we are called to forgive for our own sakes. On the cross, Jesus cried out to God, Father forgive them for they know not what they do. He forgave before He was asked to forgive. If Jesus can forgive those who beat, tortured, and killed Him, we can forgive others’ petty transgressions. To not do so opens us up to bitterness and loss. Sounds to me like the camp cook wasn’t saved. If she were she would have heeded the Holy Spirit to repentance. Mat 7:23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' I keep this verse close... Preach it Sis! Again, what does "conceived in sin" refer to??? Is it because we all are automatically born with "rebellion" in our hearts? Is it because we are not God that He considers us sinful??? Did not the Lord tolerate the sins and rebellion of Satan in heaven??? For what was birthed in his heart did not occur in a moments time, nor actively conspiring to advocate the rebellion of 1/3 of the angels! Will the millennial saint sin, no doubt that why services will continue in the holy temple! Indeed sin introduced by Adam and Eve visits us all but isn't that a part of being "human"! IE: not being God! TR I was going to ask Geri just that... We are all born with the seed of sin introduced to us by Adam. It has nothing to do with us not being God, it has to do with rebellion. The day will come when we will sin no more yet we will still not be God, we will simply be forever purified and our desire to sin/rebel will be forever taken from us. The people living in the flesh during the Millennium will still sin. They will still have that seed in them and at the end of that time many will openly rebel against God, but we will be in our new bodies and will no longer sin. At my brother’s wedding she could have called the Camp Director “preacher” over and apologized for her actions … I would have forgiven all and let bygones by bygones but she didn’t. So there is unfinished business ahead. I don’t believe the Judgment Seat of Christ is going to be all fun and games and laughter … there is going to be also regret and crying and the Lord will be wiping away the tears. Geri, I won't quote your entire message but I am with you with everything you said. Long time ago, I was crying about all the times I have been hurt by people. I was in Christian bookstore and felt uncomfortable that I started crying there. I was trying to hide it and not really interested in the books around me, when one book caught my attention. What was one of the first things in the book? what you were talking about. the author was saying how some Christians think it is going to be so good for them at the judgement seat of Christ...............that is not really true, for many of them, there will be shame and loss of rewards. What was going on in my mind and then reading the first few pages of that book...........confirmation and comfort for me. Technically sin is breaking the Lord's commandments! Even though the seed of sin was introduced by man, does that automatically mean that sin is inevitable? True that seeds produce after their own kind, but that didn't make Christ who was a man a sinner! Also true that we all have failings and will fail at many things not being perfect or all powerful, is that considered a sin? When the woman was caught in the very act of adultry, Christ's response was go and sin no more! Again, is there a difference between being simply human as opposed to everything we do, say and think being a sin. If rejected, if thoughts are taken captive, and when we choose not to sin are we called sinners? Yes indeed rewards for when we choose the better way or when we imitate Christ or are found pleasing in His sight! All men have sinned and fallen short compared against God! And yet we shall sit in judgement over angels! Does that include the good angels as well as the bad?! TR Christ was not born of man but of a virgin and the Holy Spirit. He was not born with the seed of sin as we were. He was able to live a sinless life. We are not capable. We cannot go a whole day without sinning either by thought, word or deed. What we have done or left undone. Pride has its way with us daily no matter how hard we try to rule over it. There is a saying that I find to be very true. It goes: “Lord, I have not sinned today and am not in need of forgiveness………but I’m about to get out of bed and start my day!” We cannot go a day without sinning.
