I am in the middle of a major home renovation, gutted to the walls, ceiling and floor — not because I expect that the beautiful home the architect drew for us as a finished work will be inhabited by me, but because of ALL the people I now have to meet with, contractors, architects, structural engineers, designers, electricians, plumbers, suppliers, landscapers, and builders to drip Jesus and witness to them. We are living in our camper (200 sq ft from 3600 sq ft) - they love having us on site for the build and we get to discuss the living arrangements, then leading into “other” discussions as God opens the door. They all know my husband is a pastor and that we have a strong relationship with Christ, they ask lots of questions for sure, pray for us to be ready in season and out! We also have the city doing a massive pipe reconstruction behind our property and they are using 20 ft egress of our property, so a lot of chance to discuss with this crew on this whole process, been very interesting and challenging. Started a discussion with the foreman, Gary (pray for him) about planting fruit trees and what kind we could have and he opened up on this and that led into a discussion of how God gave us so many apple trees and how we use the apple as a depiction of the fruit in the garden … and you get the picture! A great discussion I had with the designer at Laz-boy as we are picking out new furniture for the living room (takes 4 months to deliver) - one thing led to another and before you know it, we discussed the “Chosen” app and for this Methodist woman, received the plan of salvation, so she is now a text buddy, asking me all kinds of questions about the Lord, his return, the rapture, and even using covid as to the evil plans laid out — she is soaking it up! Our contractor has been asking similar questions, our realtor confirmed his salvation with us, and the list goes on — I have these folks asking for prayer … FYI …please pray for baby Charlotte, who is a niece to one of the realtors we met in this process, Charlotte is 4 months old at VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University Medical) waiting for a heart transplant, pray for her Mom and Dad.
