After the initial shock of the Rapture, I believe it will pave the way for the "temple of unbelief" to be constructed! Ergo, a possible gap theory between the Rapture and Tribulation! We may not need to see it before we leave as it is a foregone conclusion! TR I think it’s quite possible that there will be a gap. It seems hard to imagine that on one day the Rapture happens and the very next the AC takes the stage. I think it will be more impactful for a desperate world to have him arrive on the scene after a bit of chaos and despair sets in. The shock of millions suddenly disappearing will take some time to settle out. And once the Church is gone evil will have its way. It will be an awful scene for sure. So glad I won’t be here to endure. Indeed, the strides taken by Israel for the building of the 3rd temple I suspect, is more about the exercising of spiritual and political leverage! For if their hearts were truly turned towards God their national politics would reflect putting His heart first rather than appeasing the nations! TR
