Geri & Tenderreed, i wouldn't want to have to kill anything either.
this whole thing about teaching Israel to do sacrifices, having it in the law of Moses and even in the millennial temple is a big deal to God or He wouldn't have made a point of doing it. remember when Abraham raised his hand to slay Isaac and the angel of God stopped him (Genesis 22). God said He would provide Himself a lamb for a whole burnt offering and said that Abraham's seed would inherit the cities of their enemies.22:8,13,16

When Jesus was slain by way of the whipping and beating and cross, with the indignity of being spit at and hit, this was not the way a lamb was to be slain, either by Abraham, or after the law was given to Moses it was not the way the priests were to slay sacrifices. when the time of millennium has arrived, not only will the borders of Israel be changed to be what God declares (and this will fulfill Gen 22:16 having the cities of their enemies also fulfilling Ez 48 the boundaries) but under the rule of Jesus, the sacrifices will happen as they are supposed to with both obedience and understanding that Jesus is God, the son of God whom God provided, provided Himself a lamb. In Isaiah 1:10-14 is an example of how God was sick of sacrifices without the heart and obedience of the people. When Israel does become obedient to the Lord, there must be something about the importance of the sacrifices, teaching those alive and born in that time of millennium for Jesus to have them be continued, or else they would end.

Whew, what a relief.   Teaching should be a breeze ... even though I have not one ounce of talent in that field.   B-)

We shall not replace the tribe of Levi.  Regardless what is offered!

During the Millennium we shall be given other duties and responsibilities as it applies to the teaching of the Millennium saints.  Preparing them for when Satan is released by grounding them in the love of the Lord, and foreknowledge of Satan's tactics.
