Seriously though Milton Hershey and his wife Kitty could have been believers. He was brought up in the Mennonite faith. He started off making caramels and then moved over to milk chocolates. His company soon became a success when a man from England visited Lancaster, PA. He loved Hershey's candies once he tasted them and placed a big order to be delivered to Britain. Hershey was able to pay off his debt and had money left over to buy more ingredients and equipment. In 1912, they were booked to travel on the British luxury liner RMS Titanic but at the last moment cancelled and booked passage to New York on the German luxury liner SS Amerika. The Hershey Museum has on display a copy of the check Milton Hershey wrote to the White Star Line as a deposit for a first-class stateroom on the Titanic. (Note: I recall seeing a copy of the check deposit while touring the Hershey museum a few years ago - it was cool to see). Since he is and his wife couldn’t have kids, he founded an orphanage school. He was a kind and generous employer to all his workers not only in America but he also own sugar cane fields in Cuba and had a factory there. He made sure all the workers had decent homes but the factory closed down before Castro became leader and the town now is pretty much a run down ghost town. Jeff Katz, the host of a popular radio show on WRVA, said thousands of citizens are expected to rally in Richmond to protest the Democrats. “People are outraged,” he said. “This is the tipping point.” Ban Indoor Shooting Ranges “The very act of training someone to defend themselves would become illegal under some of the Democrat’s laws,” Katz said on the Todd Starnes Show.
