Abraham is born in year 1948 from Adam. Many of us have considered the number 1948 is significant because Israel was reborn in 1948. But here is a problem. Our Gregorian calendar began with 1 AD, not 0 AD. 1948 should have been 1949 when we count 1948 years from the beginning of Gregorian calendar. In other words, if Abraham's 1948 has any significance to the nation Israel, it should have been the year 1949 we should look at instead of 1948. And between 1948 and 1949, war broke out and Israel was busy fighting her enemies during that year. It was in July 1949 the final armistice agreement reached between Israel and Syria, and the settlement finally began and Israel enjoyed as a peaceful nation. Having said this, when we look at Abraham's number 1948, it should have been 1949 which is more significant than 1948. And this is why I believe the counting of 70 years should begin from 1949. Food for thought. God will honor what He will honor. At this point in history, the day of the Rapture cannot be calculated by man, IMHO. Ergo, I await His divine disclosure. TR 2nd Coming I read on some other websites that the year 1949 is the time that the rebuilding of jerusalem took place and it was officially proclaimed like as in a command! I guess you could google Rebuilding of Jerusalem in 1949-- yep we are on the cuspce or verge of some great events taking place--the thing is-- will we be here to witness them---hopefully NOT!!! So then 2019 is either the 70th or 71st year of Israel being born again! Whether it be the first day or last day of the 70th year I am expecting something noteworthy to occur. Possibly a peace treaty? There have been some inklings of tremendous news filtering out through the Trump administration. My personal belief was that while in the 70th year the Rapture would take place and then the second coming of Christ in 2026. Fulfilling the generational timeline of Psalm 90:10. In the end, the question then becomes, what day will the Lord honor! As the days march forward to some shadow of conclusion we anxiously await our redemption. TR I read from someone's comment that Trump's peace initiative is the 7th attempt after Camp David agreement in 1978. There were five more attempts to solve Jerusalem issue after Camp David agreement. This time is the 7th attempt hosted by Trump administration to solve the land issue. Seven is a biblical number which stands for completion. I wonder if Trump's effort to resolve Jerusalem issue is the final one by human before the tribulation and the rapture.
