In my words, I can see what is being said here, how the world doesn't even know Jesus is returning. No one is watching or listening to the signs coming everyday in the world, but when your a person who loves Jesus, has experienced His love, His blessings, you know the time is drawing near, you realize true Christians are not playing any games, but our serious in their walk with Him.  Staying close to Jesus is not hard because the world is so evil, it actually pushes us closer to Him, not further away.  Living for Jesus is like be married your entire life and you never give up on that marriage, you keep loving and forgiving till death do you part or we fly away!

Hi Vicky! Good video. I've always liked David Wilkerson. His book "The Vision" was an interesting read in the '70's but seemed far fetched at the time. I reread the book about ten years ago and it was like reading old newspaper headlines!

I like his admonishment that we should take our relationship with our Savior more seriously as many Christians hardly ever open their Bibles or spend much time in adoration of Jesus. There is absolutely nothing that can compare to spending time in His presence. :prayer-hands:

With that said, I would like to make a comment or two about what Wilkerson said, if I understood it correctly, that I do not agree with. The part about true believer's still being in danger of having the door shut on them, using the parable of the virgins as his example. No true Christian, whether he/she slumbers or becomes lazy will be rejected by God. Disciplined, maybe/probably, but not rejected. Even the disciples fell asleep in the Garden of Gethsemane. Again, if I understood Wilkerson correctly, he implies that it is by our continual works that keep us saved, which I do not believe. Secondly, concerning the parable of the virgins, he implies that we can change over from a wise virgin to the foolish by running out of oil but that is not true. Oil represents the Holy Spirit and the parable represents those who have received it and those who rejected it by rejecting Christ.

What I really like, much more than the video, were your words below it! I don't believe it could have been said any better! Thank you for your wisdom and insight. I am so glad you shared it with us :rose:

Seems to me, a true Christian is one who imitates Christ!  Salvation is not conditional and doesn't come up for review every six months!

Though He loves us with a perfect love, ours is truly imperfect.  His love is truly greater than ours!  Grace covers our Love!
