Keep hopin'!  :yahoo:

I used to think, as many did, that the rapture would happen on the Feast of Trumpets, but later I came to believe that Pentecost was a better possibility.  All dispensations start and end then.  And, the Church was born on that day and so it will probably be caught up to heaven on Pentecost. (Although every feast day points to Christ so every one of them gives me hope.)

Pentecost is associated with the barley harvest which a lot of theologians believe is the harvest of the Church.  Yes, as TR says, it is still in the Springtime, so it fits into the Song of Solomon story.

The 153 fish has always seemed to be an important number, but an inscrutable mystery.  Maybe this man, George, has it figured out.  It's a date--the 15th of the 3rd month!

We shall soon find out!

People have always associated 153 as a completion number of souls for the church!

Funny if it were a veiled date!

Either way, nothing conclusive at this point let alone clear!

I still have all my chocolate eggs in the basket for a Easter home going.  But if April 17th comes and goes … then yeah I will certain put this June High Watch date on my calendar … :mail:

I agree with him “no man knows the day or hour” has nothing to do with the rapture but the 2nd coming. :good:   People LOVE to misquote it and hope to get us to stop talking about our Blessed Hope … and here the Lord is going to reward those who long for His appearing with a Crown so how can it be sooooo “sinful” to talk about high watch dates? B-)

And the Lord says Let no man steal your crown(s). So ignore the naysayers and keep watching and staying alert ….

IMHO, Pentecost is a very logical time for the Rapture to happen. I am personally looking at June 5th (Dead Sea Scroll Calendar Pentecost) but this June 15th date that George has proposed has some merit, too

Still haven't given up on April, though. Passover is coming as well as the Feast of First Fruits. They are certainly high watch times. :mail:

I agree that Pentecost is a very logical date for the rapture.

although I do try not to set dates. I think "no one knows the day or the hour" is for the second coming and Jesus probably hinted to Him coming on the New Year. However, I am still not comfortable setting any specific dates or timeframes.

I believe the Rapture is imminent, could happen any time. I look with joy to Christ's coming to take His church.  This year looks good, maybe even on Pentecost or this September.   But I don't want to jump on predict a time or even day thing. I have seen way too many of these predictions come and go.  I remain watchful and on alert, but I am not going to camp on some date or time period for either the rapture or the tribulation.  We are told to be watchful.  These celestial positions are interesting with Planetary positions, eclipses, and "blood moons" but this theory is not something I am going to rest my faith on. My faith is eagerly awaiting the soon return of my Savior.  This is just how I see it, and I'm not looking for an argument.

We can all say Amen to that! We watch and wait here together with that inner longing within each of us, to be with our Lord in the air on the day He calls us up. None of us know the specific day, but we anticipate His call upward. We long for it with our innermost beings, to be with Him and in His presence - to be forever with the Lord. Days and Feasts may be presented, but with the understanding amongst all of us, that there is no date setting here. Possibilities are presented, considered and discussed at length, but never set in stone. Only explored!

Such Joy awaits us all! :rose: :bible :rose:

" By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord." 1Thess 4:16
