Nah, this cup is upset because it’s out of coffee! 😉 :groan ... I finally thought I had the upper hand on this one B-) but your wise crack one liner comeback top it. Giving you credit :dieu: but also Burr! Too much snow for me. I’m not really the winter type personally, but I do like a good cup of coffee in the morning with sweet cream. I also like hot chocolate with marshmallows or hot spice tea. Geri, hats off to ya girl for enduring that kind of weather, yuk! It will be 31 degrees here tomorrow morning but no white stuff falling. I’m thinking of staying on the islands of heaven where the weather is a perfect 74 with a light breeze, perfect gardening temp. Ah! Dreaming of I hope, I hope, it’s off to heaven we go.... :prayer-hands:  I've often wondered why people who don't enjoy cold weather never move to warmer climates. Or people who undergo extreme weather will also stay put and in the middle of it?! Like tornado alley! Or tropical storm surges. Or people who live in low lying coastal areas of the states who are at risk of flooding? Seems to me that all of these are more dangerous and more likely to happen than earthquakes on the west coast. Not my call, no judgment, just curious! TR The way I see it ... there is no real happy place on planet earth right now. While the NE has the cold and snowstorms to deal with, the South has the extreme humid heat, hurricanes, cockroaches, snakes and gators. Or its tornado alley for the Midwest and the West has the drought, fires and earthquakes ... For me, I can’t relocate because I know its the Lord’s will for me to stay put where I’m at. Fortunately I do like half the year - May - Oct ... I just can’t stand shoveling and driving in snow/freezing rain. :negative: Geri said it - sometimes it is cause we know we are called by God to be where we are, but also, it can be an issue of expense or life circumstances. There are several places I would love to move to up in the mountains, but I am not able to leave where I live right now due to custody stuff. Now should the Lord tarry until that resolves *shudder* then I will be able to relocate. However, I am really, really, really hoping for the rapture long before then! I have mixed feelings about cold weather... I am a homebody, so if I can have a roaring fire, warm fluids, a blanket and a book - I don't mind the cold and snow; especially if I have a pretty view of it all... I found that it wasn't hard to adapt to either, but I was much younger than, so it didn't bother me to bundle up and shovel snow. Perhaps in heaven, if there is a snowy place, we can see it from afar to enjoy the beauty, but we might also be young enough to enjoy it again and not "feel" the bone-chilling cold - if you know what I mean. Also, maybe we might be able to walk on top of snow in heaven - how cool would that be? :mdrmdr: Well, at least down here in the South we can eat our snakes and gators! lol 😉 Some of the friendliest people I have ever been around live in southern Louisiana. They eat weird things but they make them taste soooooo good! Perhaps they will sell postcards of weather at the gift shop in Heaven? It could happen! One good thing about having a sense of humor, it takes the focus off ourselves and we can't take ourselves too seriously! TR Pray-tell is that southern bayou restaurant called Rattlesnake Cafe ... serving endless reptilian snakes, gators and hot cough-fee? ((Shiver ... Shivers)) Instead of complaining ... I think I’m going to thank the Lord for the cold and snow after all since life can be far worse living next to a cafe like that! B-) Maybe you'll get issued long-johns. They never fit him anyway. TR
