Again with  regards to the Rapture, there are many possibilities that could easily speak to many people, for various reasons.  Some require much extrapilation and some very little.  Many clues are given and found, but an obvious intended vagueness seems to remain in place.

Whether the day Noah climbed into the Ark, or the day the Church was born or even that we honor the day of Christ's birth, any would be likely candidates for the Rapture.

I'll leave that detail to the Lord,  sooner rather than later works for me!

Yep, even though we wait and watch and stay busy ... I’m glad each day that passes is one day closer to home going!

Meanwhile we flip the calendar over to December!  Looking forward to J.D.’s youtube prophecy update. :popcorn

I’m in for a Christmas home going, isn’t there a song that says “I’ll be home for Christmas, you can count on me.....” yep found it —- “I'll Be Home for Christmas" is a Christmas song written by the lyricist Kim Gannon and composer Walter Kent and recorded in 1943 by Bing Crosby, written in honor of our soldiers away from home.

I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve'll find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams

Course, I agree Geri, a New Years Eve would create a total chaos for those who over indulge in the “spirits and such” to realize, “where’d everybody go”””” teehee!

Fair Use, please

New years day with much of the world's attention gathered, would speak to a great audience indeed!

But between the those two days, I would take Christmas Day for sure.

The only small objection I have to the classic  “I’ll be home for Christmas” song is I prefer not to see snowflakes or cold weather in eternity. :negative:   For those who love snow sports and walking in the rain I hope its on other planets for you to enjoy and heaven remains a nice warm tropical temperature with no humidity and always sunny. B-)

Or do you suppose heaven will be big enough to be divided up into 4 seasons?  If so ... I’m staying on the summer side :good: ... perhaps after 1 million years I “might” step over for 1 minute to check out the winter side and to see what I’m not missing.

Yet not to cause confusion ... I love Christmas decorations and snow sleds and hope I can decorate my little dwelling place with that theme with plenty of hot chocolate, hot tea, hot apple cider with cinnamon.

As like in Narnia, I'm not looking forward to eternal winter either.  And no one wants the other extreme either, suffocating heat!

How about Heaven being like California but without all the liberals!

Geri, you said, " … perhaps after 1 million years I “might” step over for 1 minute to check out the winter side and to see what I’m not missing." Maybe by then you'll have developed an appreciation for coffee. But as you step over maybe you'll still prefer hot chocolate on a cold snowy day.

LOL ... there is a special cup made just for nasty coffee and this is it.   I’m positive my loyalty will never waiver for the sophisticated taste of Hot Cocoa with marshmallows, whip cream, jimmies and cherries.

Right now Vermont is in the midst of a winter storm.  The snowflakes started this morning around 11:00 a.m. and its not suppose to end until Tuesday morning ... accumulations are between 10 - 20 inches.   And I have an early appointment tomorrow morning  ... I think its going to get cancelled.  And the forecast for Wed - Friday show more snow ...

This is why I’m not going to miss winter ... not in a million years. B-)

That's O K, just avoid the East coast of Heaven.  Problem solved!
