Dear all,

I am hesitant to post this because I don't know how it will be received.  I realize that dreams may be of God, or they may be caused by the pizza from dinner.  We can't base our theology on dreams, but I just thought it was interesting.  If I am breaking any rules, please feel free to delete.

All in all, nothing to disagree with.  A herald for looking up!  No visions of heaven or Jesus, but two main points I was struck with.

Their kitchen meeting was a church, with proper worship as being important and the lack of Rapture being taught!

Secondly, the instant anger, hatred and violence and accusations against the church leaders struck me as being so true!

Overall, the call of warning seems to be the focus of this dream!  Warning and disclosure.

Interesting he thinks we are flying up and will be caught up in UFO’s … are these God’s chariots?    Perhaps the chariots await us in the clouds and we are beamed up into them?

And satan is a copy cat with his UFO’s to deceive the left behind and make it look like “the aliens” took us away. :negative:

As far as the left behind … I can see them crying because they will realize what we were saying was true.   Yeah I can see many getting angry but they shouldn’t be towards us who were faithful in witnessing.  They should be angry at the Laodecian “preachers” who held circus carnival services.

The irony is … you don’t have to talk about the rapture to get someone saved.  I’ve learned to keep the message simple … Jesus loves them, died for them and they need Him as their personal Lord and Savior if they want to go to heaven.  I also say life is short and there is no guarantee of another day.  They need to make a decision ASAP.  This is what they can understand.   And if they do call on Jesus … then they are automatically “rapture ready”.  I’ve talked to just a handful of people about the rapture and their responses were often negative and mocking like its some fairy tale … hence, I avoid bringing the subject up.  The people in the Northeast of America can only handle simple facts.

I also feel anyone living in a free country where the Bible has been allowed is without excuse … they can’t play the blame game on us of  “why didn’t you tell me”?!   God says in Romans 1:20  the whole world is really without excuse … “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, evenhis eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

I do ponder this passage though  …

II Thess 2:7-12

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

vs. this passage of who will get saved vs. who will believe thee great lie.

Revelation 7:9, 14

9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Pastors can preach the rapture but the responsibility to believe it as like the gospel message, is on an individual basis!  God makes this clear!

Whether we add Rapture teaching or Hell fire with it, we must follow the Spirit’s leading!  Indeed the gospel is first and foremost!

Well my earworm today is … “Swing low, sweet chariot Coming for to carry me home”

Wondering now if each Chariot (UFO) is designated for each family … and their fur babies? B-)    Looks like some might need mega UFO’s for the amount of pets they have. :mdrmdr:

Lastly, the impression I get is that this dream was personally given to him for personal application!

I don't witness using the rapture. I think its a concept that is too difficult for people to understand and given that we do not know when it will happen I think it can be a deterrent. As near as it seems to all of us now, it seemed that near in 2015 as well. So here we are six years later and those we preached it to are thinking "yeah, right!". Remember Harold Camping in 2011? That was 10 years ago. But telling people about the love of Jesus really makes a difference. That is timeless! I'm one of those people who respond negatively to scare tactics so even though I am wholly excited about the rapture I tend to keep it to myself. But, as always, we should allow the Holy Spirit to guide us as it is He Who does the leading, speaking, drawing, and convicting, and converting.
