Oh boy — glad Dodger is a quicker pooper as he too can get frost bitten mittens :mdrmdr:

We have a heat wave right now with 16 degrees. It does affect my asthma and now very scarred covid lungs, so I am not out and about today.  Looking forward to Spring and with new life budding all around, maybe tis the season we fly upward…. :prayer-hands:

Seriously going to ask the Father for a home with climate control of between 68-74 degrees, bright and sunny (we will have no need of lamp of light or sun as the Lord God will be our light ….).

I know cabin fever might set in, but remember it is a short season, so hang in there…… praying for all in that region :prayer-hands:

Yes Arthur, as my oldest grandson was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, he often reminds me of his thick blood and love of extreme cold. They lived in Arizona for a short time and he was most miserable. Fortunately, we are all a bit different in our metabolic make-up and tend to thrive in what region we are born in and typically feel most comfortable in. My dear friend from Kenya cannot stand it even here in the winter, she looks like the Michelin man beginning in November as she bundles up; whereas my good friends in Belarus, similar to my grandson, are running around in shorts in January with temps in the teens or below….  … to each’s own! 😉

LOL … well I’m wearing shorts indoors and barefooted with a warm oversize sweatshirt.  And I made another batch of Italian lemon ice … I’m eating this while under the covers and the heat on full blast. B-)   This might sound odd to be eating lemon ice this time of the year but the lemon keeps colds away and fluid from building up in the lungs.  But if I do go on outdoors I changed into pants.   I wanted to do some errands yesterday but changed my mind since it wasn’t the best driving conditions.  Today its sunshine … currently 2 degrees with a high of 18.

The next negative temps wont be until Friday night with snow.  But other than that … February is looking good for having normal temps once more …

Are the oranges and lemons trees frozen?  Hopefully this doesn’t kill the crop?

So does this stop Floridians from using their heated pools in this weather? B-)

He already gave us a place with natural climate control between 68-74 degrees. We named it San Diego and we’ve made a mess of it  I used to live just to the north of San Diego and the weather was nearly perfect all year but my goodness what a mess humans have made of that amazing state! But our Father won’t let us do that in the next life. We use the term “fullness of the Gentiles” to describe the closing of the church age and in seeing what depravity man has sunk to it seems to me there is also the fullness of mans sin which seems to be at hand. I want to see California returned to its original state (there’s a pun in there somewhere) once the Millennial Kingdom begins.
