That 423 BC date is absolutely wrong. That should be 586 BC. Rabbinic Judiasm monkeyed around with the dates around 160 AD (Seder Olam) in a wicked effort to keep Jewish people from seeing that Messiah Yeshua had already come. The second breaching of the walls was in 70 AD. Both temples were destroyed on the 9th of Av. As for a conserted attack on Israel, that would make sense.
