I’m looking at my earthquake app and it’s showing only two tremors at 2.5 near Columbia, which isn’t something you can feel. While it is unusual, it’s not unprecedented. Several years ago along the fault line that runs between Alabama and Georgia we had one register in the 5’s and felt it here. Ever since living in California I monitor this stuff frequently and nothing alarming or trending has happened. If those swarms produce something more noticeable then I’d be concerned but no one is going to feel a 2.5. Could it be a precursor to bigger events? Possibly, but I’m not going to get excited about this event.

Hi gang, we had an unexpected surprise yesterday.   My son and his GF made an unexpected visit from PA!  They are here for the weekend.   We haven't been together in over 2 years.  We went to the beach, yeah they brought the cold weather 48*, did dinner and went star gazing.

Geri, no I didn't feel the quake.   There have been at least 3 since we have been down here but most are under 3.   We are about 120 miles north of that quake.

Oh what a pleasant surprise for you!  Aren’t you glad you are a prepper and have the supplies.  48°?  Why that’s a heat wave for us to get out our shorts and sandals. B-)

So glad you didn’t feel any of the small earthquakes further south.
