Release date of the new coin: April 5, 2021 Comments are interesting: This is huge news!!! The front is reverting back to the original 1932-1998 design! AND.... Authorizing legislation under Public Law 110-456! (1+1+0+4+5+6=17)! During a press conference aired on Facebook Live Wednesday, Gov. Tate Reeves, R-Miss., reflected on the challenges Mississippians faced throughout the year, including the coronavirus pandemic, unemployment, economic uncertainty and natural disasters. “This has been a challenging, dare I say a very, very hard year for so many of our fellow Mississippians,” he said. “There has been so much suffering and for many of our fellow Mississippians, we continue to suffer.” “As we close out this year, I felt the need to go to God in prayer for our state.
