Okay.  Uncle, (maybe).  I checked my profile/settings/email and I should be getting bothered the same way y'all are based on my settings.  In Profile/Settings/Email there are yes/no buttons to press.  Under Email Notifications / Set your email notification preferences / Activity / there's a Y/N response after "A member replies to an update or comment you've posted."  Mine has Y but somehow I don't get them automatically.  I have only been notified after I had checked the little box described above.  Kinda counter-intuitive...  Hmmmm...

The "tags" you asked about are used for search engines to find relevant material faster via keyword searches.  Tags are little flags.  The old RITA site used to need them if I recall, but here tags are optional.  It was painful to put something together back then, maybe spending 30-40 minutes composing a masterpiece, if you omitted the tag and pressed "submit" without one, the whole masterpiece went into an irretrievable bit bucket somewhere.

Let me know what you find in settings, Geri, if you're so inclined.  It's indeed a curse to be drowned in unnecessary emails, isn't it?  No math needed here though, unless Y/N settings smack of Boolean Algebra for you.

I hold to the position that the first and second temples were not on the temple mount. I believe they were in the City of David. So,  the could start rebuilding immediately if they want.

However,  for those that hold to the temple mount view,  many say that the Temple is not where the two Islamic buildings are.  So,  there is no hindrance to building it in either view.

Oh wow ... the old site with the tag issues sounded like a real frustrating nightmare.

Ok ... are you drinking coffee?  If not better get a whole pot made to solve this ... B-)

Here is a snap shot of my settings ... I got everything checked on NO except for Friendship request. B-)   The problem is ... all the traffic is coming from “a member replies to an update or comment you’ve posted” and I clearly have it checked NO ... and today I see 5 new notification responses and I wasn’t that active today ... I usually average 20 something.    I’m also getting new PM’s but I don’t mind those ... its all the notification replies in the threads that get overwhelming to have to delete.

Could the software is dyslexic? 😉 :mdrmdr:  Or perhaps its the biggest fan of Doris Day and wants us to keep singing  “K sera sera whatever will be will be ...”

Jerusalem is and will remain the epicenter for Gods dealing with His covenant people Israel. Arthur, I would agree with you on the location of the temple, if you research on the city if David, there is far more evidence for the temple and the wailing wall is part of the Roman garrison.  Christ said, not one stone is left upon another, so temple #2 was completely destroyed, the wall was not left. In saying my two cents, it is the Fathers decision not ours. It doesn’t really matter where the AC tries to set up a kingdom for 7 yrs, except, he defiles the Temple, in the middle, of the tribulation and the Temple, per scripture, is located in Jerusalem. They will see, we won’t :yahoo: soon —— :prayer-hands:

off topic —- have you all listened to Jan Markel’s latest interviews with the two CA pastors, nice affirmation we are right on target for leaving. :prayer-hands:

Yeah I’m leaning that it probably doesn’t matter where the 3rd temple is built ... Roman Garrison vs. City of David because its only going to be in place for 7 years.  Once Jesus puts His feet on the Mount of Olives and rearranges the landscape, He will place the 4th temple in the right spot.

Just curious, did the 2 pastors on Jan’s show say they think the rapture is in Sept or sometime in 2020 ... or did they not want to go out on the limb?
