LOL!  :stinkerbell:

No, I can pass up all these far out Asian “delight” meals ... no temptation whatsoever.  I’ve learned to respect the palate ... especially if you want to avoid ((agita)). B-)    I prefer a simple easy-peasy gourmet sandwich.  Just 2 slices of warm eye-talian bread with peanut butter and toss a few gourmet jelly beans.  It’s ooh la la  delish.

Do you use sweet, sour or garlic pickles?

I often put cucumbers in American Cheese/Roast Beef sandwiches.

By the way I bought those Sweet & Spicy Jalapeño Cape Cod chips the other day - wow, wicked good! :good:   Just need a fizzy beverage within reach  to cool down the fire ever so often. B-)

Sour, of course. The peanut butter is sweet and the pickles are sour. Makes a nice contrast. 😉

Polish pickles are best, IMHO.

What can I say ... its a thread that wont die. :mdrmdr:

It’s really Yohanan’s fault ... he resurrected it today with posting that disgusting cicadas platter trying to entice us to expand the food pyramid.  He’s not satisfied with the 5 major groups ... wishes Gourmet Asian Delights of flying and/or creepy crawly fried insects be included

I’m not sure I can find Polish pickles in my neck of the woods.  The choices are very slim ... Vlasic and the store brand.  But I will buy the sour ones this time because I usually get the sweet.  I’m game to try it.

Perhaps there needs to be a food thread. 😉

Well I kinda did start a food thread.  Its hidden in the subfolder of “natural health” called “Bon Appetite? What’s for dinner at your house?”.  I got a few to join the cyber dinner table but lately its been a no show and I’m stuck there talking to myself. 🙁   Perhaps everyone is fasting  or has too much going on in their life right now and don’t want to talk about what they are doing, or share a favorite recipe, or what they are preparing for dinner or if they are going out to eat/having pizza delivery ...

But if you start a thread about FOOD ... I will certainly show up!

Meanwhile ... sorry to make you all ...
