This I never heard of worth a watch. This could explain a lot if I'm understanding correctly :feedback This just recently came onto my radar as well. Had never heard of it before, but based on the little I know so far it sounds like it has the potential to become the framework for beheadings during the 70th week. Thankful we will be in the balcony seats by then. The heart of man is desperately wicked... From what I'm reading on several sites these laws only allow worshiping one G_D . And that excludes Jesus worship as idolatry and is punishable by death by beheading. One site links it to a satanic version of Torah law. https://grandmageri422.me/2019/03/02/what-are-the-noahide-laws-and-why-christians-should-be-concerned/ a written explanation. Talmud law not Torah law, sorry I goofed Hi Blake, I watched the video but found some major flaws in it. What I don't like about the video is that Dr. Day believes the Bowl Judgements have already been released upon the world, citing the outbreak of cancer, which, by the way, she is selling a book on how to heal yourself of cancer. She also believe Christianity was the first religion and did not come out of Judaism, based on Gen 3:15 "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will strike your head, and you will strike his heel." Given that there were no followers of Christianity until AFTER the Resurrection of Christ it's hard to have a religion with no adherents before the birth of Judaism. The other thing I do not like about her interview is her take on Jews as the Chosen people of God. I was just concerned with the part about the Noahide laws, had never even heard of them, the written post link was better. I'm sorry never meant to offend. Please forgive I was just looking to see if anyone knew about these laws, seem Bush signed them into law. I'm sure your points are valid. Sorry about not checking the rest of the video. My apologies. Blake :dieu: I didn't watch the video, and don't really care to take the time. But with regards to the article: Well, I disagree with the article. It claims the 7 Noahide Laws are these: The actual biblical instruction is " 4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. 5 And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man. 6 “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image. God's position as the One in charge is clear not from His commands, but by the fact that He just judged the world and cleansed it. He apparently didn't think it necessary to instruct those few who survived the cleansing to take Him seriously. Nor do I see any admonition not to steal in those verses. I do see an admonition not to eat meat with the blood still in it, which is what was brought up in the instruction to the Gentiles in Acts - don't eat the blood of strangled animals. Animals that are strangled still have their blood in them. The bit about setting up a judicial system is inherent in the requirement for mankind to take the life-blood of any man or animal that takes another man's life-blood. Which also covers the don't murder bit. I'm not seeing any Noahide admonition not to steal or commit sexual immorality, although the council at Jerusalem thought at least the latter would be beneficial. For those in a covenant relationship with Christ, all the penalty for sin has already been dealt with, and consideration of whether or not it is "lawful" is not really the point. The point is what is beneficial, what builds up, what demonstrates our love for God in all that we do, and demonstrates His love acting through us to those we interact with. "“All things are lawful,” but not all things are profitable; “All things are lawful,” but not all edify." 1 Cor 10:23 By the way, here is the Law in question. It was a proclamation of a day of Education made for the supporters of the rabbi in question. It isn't a binding law by any means, and is basically a politically encouraging "attaboy" that brings more votes to the one who offers the proclamation. https://www.congress.gov/bill/102nd-congress/house-joint-resolution/104/text No worries, Blake. I did some additional investigation on the Noahide Laws and if they are being implemented, then I can see how the connection to beheading is relevant during the Tribulation. Where Dr. Day was in error, in my opinion, is that she believes we are already in the Tribulation, which she mentioned towards the end of the video and the other errors I mentioned above. I agree with you, I had just never heard of these laws . Was looking if anyone had. Wondering how congress had pass them and Bush signed them into law. Was never and never did say I agreed or liked or believed in them, was just looking to see if anyone had any information. Please don't attack me for asking a question. Dearest Blake, you have not offended, nor have you been attacked. Please do not take a discussion of the article/video presented, as a personal attack. The content is what is in discussion, not you. Your questions are welcomed. I wholeheartedly agree with Kolleen! I was countering the information presented in the video and TxThom was countering what he read in the link posted. We want people to ask questions but if we disagree with the information presented it is our obligation to voice it. If you feel I was being disrespectful to you, then please accept my apology, as that was not my intention. But I do not apologize for disagreeing with the content presented. Absolutely no attack on you was intended Blake. I was just trying to add in some details on some of the apparently mentioned features of the video and on the article. I actually have no problem with the "Noahide" laws as such, but I do think the command to love God with everything we are and our fellowman as He does is far more encompassing a guideline, as the parable of the Good Samaritan demonstrates. Apparently there have been lots of internet commentary on Bush "signing into law the Noahide commands", which I had never heard of prior to your post, but the reality is that it was just a molehill proclamation. I will not be asking again, thank you Kolleen, but there are ways to answer with love and compassion and then other ways. I am ate up with full blown MS and was seeking help . I will pray and ask the Lord to lead me to help when I get confused. Bless you Kolleen, TX Tom and Yohanan may the Lord Jesus keep you all in His care and Love. Please don’t shy away Blake. That’s not what this was about as has been said. Please, let’s go forward in understanding the misunderstanding. We love you!
1. Do not deny God (no idolatry).
2. Do not murder.
3. Do not steal.
4. Do not engage in sexual immorality.
5. Do not blaspheme.
6. Do not eat of a live animal (no eating flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive).
7. Establish courts and legal systems to ensure obedience of these laws.
Blake
Ask away Blake. I've learned a lot over the years by researching out questions, and I enjoy it. More than those I respond to it seems. I'm sorry I caused you grief.
