I watch a lot of Billy Crone - he’s really good, my opinion :good:

He has a YT series on world religion and current parties and people. Not what we may not know but certainly confirming what we read in scripture :prayer-hands:

Not a lot of feedback on this video.  So is speaking in an heavenly language from God?!  Or a sacred cow the church has adopted?!

And when we get to heaven, will we all speak Hebrew or operate with the true gift of known tongues?!  Having our understanding increased.

Yet no one has proposed we shall all learn and utilize angelic speech in Heaven!?

Any thoughts?

1 John 3:2 KJVS
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1 Corinthians 15:49-52 KJVS
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. [50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. [51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, [52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

When we are changed and obtain our incorruptible bodies, we will be like him. I believe we will know all languages, even the heavenly language. Thoughts?

Indeed his point is valid and one I have comfortably lived with for years!

It has also been referred to as the least of the gifts!  I have also asked how roaring like a lion or engaging in uncontrollable laughter honors God?!

That said, we are also told that when language is insufficient that we are led by the Spirit who leads us to groan!

It hardly can be used as a marker for salvation, as some have suggested!

I also can agree that it is the most easily imitated and contrived of gifts.  It is also a self regulating principle in number and must always be interpreted!

Private prayer language should be heard by only God in our prayer closets as well!

Again, we are told an evil and wicked generation requires signs!  Not wanting to totally dismiss heavenly language all together.  As like any holy endeavor, it can be abused and misused and not glorify the body, but self!

Truly, an heavenly language cannot be subject to the will of man, but of the Holy Spirit!  Herein is the greatest argument against "babbling"!

Like all the gifts of God, it must glorify Him and not men!

In the end, it is either an unknown language or incoherent babble!

Again, being slain and speaking in unknown tongues is as previously mentioned by myself not "revival"!

The Azuza St manifestation and subsequent outpourings did not bring large and lasting revivals!

Many shall enter into Heaven believing and practicing "babble", and those who don't shall also be given entrance!  The practice is not a requirement for salvation!
