Agreed!

"Point is, we are children of the day and light.  We will not be taken unawares! This is His promise. The Lord in his majesty and glory would find some way that would speak to every Christ loving heart!!!"

I have not hear very much on this with respect to the rapture.    It is a very intriguing thought....... we might know right before, or sometime before, that we will be taken.  I've read that scripture, but surprisingly haven't put much thought into it; only about the rapture itself and knowing we are in the season. Hmmmmm.

It's all about knowing and loving His heart.

I am convinced that His heart is pure.  Sadly when we enter into intimate human relations, this is rarely the case.  He is whole, complete and perfect by Himself.

We are not, we are broken vessels.  A shadow only of what we will be in eternity future.  The potter is still fashioning each of us, as the clay is readied and prepared.

But nonetheless, His love is our model, our template.  Oh to love like Christ and our Heavenly Father! Seems to me that the Lord will use anyone but only to the measure that we surrender in His hands!

Yet we and I, seem to fall short on a daily basis!  Whatever Heaven will hold and offer to us, the fact that we will be in His presence will be most important.  Seems to me that everything else Heaven offers will be but window dressing.

This is not just mere speculation, but a truth in fact.  We allow ourselves and our imaginations to run wild trying to anticipate the glories of Heaven.  But we often forget, what makes Heaven glorious is His presence!

And yet the Lord allows our hearts to imagine, dream and share the expressions of our hearts with regards to Heaven.

What if....

What if we are not only right to anticipate His SOON return, but also find that He is nearer than we can even imagine!  This thought boggles the mind, and overwhelms our spirits!

What if we not only hear,  "well done thou good and faithful servant" but are also commended  for our faithful waiting and watching!   Then to hear Him say, that we knew His Holy Spirit, intimately!

What if.... tonight was our last night here!!!

TR welcome to my world! My mind stays in constant boggle, if you will. It remains a since of unreality but yet truth.

I know it so well, that we, the watchers of our beloved Bridegroom, will indeed receive the Crown of Life, to give back to Christ.

I know, He is going to call us, the Bride and very shortly. In my world I can almost feel the nearness and my listening heart reaches for the heavens. This world is a burden to bare. But soon and awesomely soon, we are so outta here! Beyond understanding, beyond imagination, but truth nonetheless! Praise to the Lamb! :yahoo: :prayer-hands:

You had made a comment in another thread that you thought God would (paraphrasing) touch our hearts with such an overflow just before the Rapture and I am definitely leaning in that direction. And to the original musing, I would not be surprised at this point if Trump did blow a shofar! I really never expected him to move the US embassy to Jerusalem or even consider helping build the temple and yet that is exactly what he did and is doing.

Whatever Trump's true motivations are, the fact is that he is being used by God is good enough for me.  He obviously was never known to be a bible thumper.  They certainly couldn't use that argument against him.  Saved or not, he is being used by God to bless Israel!

Then again Nixon who was an avowed anti-semite authorized the world's greatest arm's shipment in a 24hr period in history, when Israel needed it most!

I like Yohanan don't live and breath by every wind of political posturing and pontification, but we can still glean the movements of the Lord's hand within human affairs!

Indeed, the blowing of the Shofar and the releasing of doves into the Heavens.  When the Holy Spirit leaves, we leave!

Certainly we see many signals from the Lord, unmistakable markers set in place, the world and it's leaders seemingly following a script, Temple resurrection, creation groaning in anticipation, and before we know it we're being called up!

Just so glorious to see the sovereign will of God coming to pass directly before our eyes!  Even more so, when our eyes are filled with the glories of Heaven and His glorious face ever before us!  Even so Lord, the Spirit and the Bride say come...

The way I see it Trump does love the Jewish people and wants the best for them.  If he is successful in paving the way for Israel to get their Temple built ... in return the Israeli government will cave and change the law of the land to permit him to build the first casino/hotel in Israel.  Right now the laws are they can play National Lottery or participate in sports betting but that’s it.  Since they already have a few golf courses ... I think having the first ever casino built in Israel is mighty tempting for him.
