Is the AI technology for the time when the AC is ruling?

Seems like it. It might explain this:

Rev 13:14  And he deceives those who dwell on the earth—by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.

Rev 13:15  He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

The host is spooky looking with his chrome dome and mirror glasses 😳. It’s easy to see how AI will be used to deceive the masses.

Great thread Yohanan!

This is slightly off topic, but I spoke to a man recently who considers himself to be a devout Christian. However, he contends that the writings of the Apostle Paul should be taken out of the Bible. He calls Paul an 'antinomian' (a person who believes we are released by grace from observing the moral law). He clearly does not want to hear anything about Jesus having fulfilled the law. I guess you all know the argument.

This guy reckons the rapture won't happen in the one next hundred years.

I am also guilty of having criticized Paul because I said (years ago) that his written sentences are way too long. I even said: "Give me a red pen and I'll edit his letters for him". Of course, I have repented of this stupidity since. Once I started grasping the immense value and priceless gift of the gospel of grace, my life has changed immeasurably.

It just goes to show how easily we can be deceived. I have a thing about pastors who beat their flock instead of feeding them with the love of Father God. Knowing He loves us is so important! We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).

😁 Been there. I used to say that Paul replaced periods with commas.

I just happened upon a channel that has several relatively short videos suggesting Ascension Day.

Update: I started watching.  They appear to be based on astrology and numbers.  Therefore, I don't understand any of it.  I'll have to wait for Bob to finish his nap to watch with me and explain.

Hahaha! Thanks Heidi for quoting the sentence that I messed up... I was trying to say "next one hundred years". Humility is a good thing though!

The man in question is actually very 'religious'. Goes to church three times a week, memorizes scripture and so on. However, I know where he misses it: if you get God's law hammered into you time after time, the good news of the grace of the Lord Jesus is just too good to be true.

The (rather obscure) point I was trying to make is that if we focus on the legal requirements of the Old Covenant and not on the marvelous love made available to us in the New Covenant, then God's mercy is far away. True love and our blessed hope become less important and even fade into the distance. That's because the law makes you self-conscious instead of being Christ-conscious.

Come Lord Jesus! (Any time You like!)
